You actually think that says something? I never really thought about it, whenever I heard that Q was buying up stock I envisioned this guy Calling his broker and buying some FUN. How did they even come up with the name "Q" anyhow?

I don't see the sale happening anyhow, what with all the strong "NO"s from seemingly every angle. Q's more of what I'd focus on if I would focus on such things.

Cedar Fair's management is recommending to vote FOR the merger because......They have to under the terms of the merger? Or because they'll get quite a handsome golden parachute with the sale?

I take that as a hint.

I noticed when I rode Wildcat at Cedar Point that it wasn't like most Chain Lifts, it was an ACTUAL chain, like on a bicycle! It wouldn't rest in the lift, it actually stuck out at the bottom curve of the lift until the car pulled it down. I wonder why it was built like that.

Gotta love to hate people who think rides have an expiration date on them. The length of the ride's life depends on an enormous amount of factors, including Maintenance, Quality of materials, type of coaster, rehabilitation (See above picture), and the park owner. Some parks will ditch rides that others could only dream of adding.

Don't give them any ideas....

What I wouldn't give to walk through that park right now and check it out myself, they said pictures would be coming in a matter of days, but we must remember this IS Kings Island, the Fun and Only... I guess Boo Blasters on Boo Hill (Barf) could be un-Peanuts, but I believe at all other parks there's a Peanuts tie-in on it, so I'm left to wonder what it will be, and why it was not assimilated into Planet Snoopy... Resistance is not futile?

Terpy, when March the 16th does arrive, what will you be counting down to then? Bearing in mind that the events of that day could drastically effect the future of all Cedar Fair parks...

Awesome! Nice juicy info on 2010. Leave it to Kings Island to announce that RWCW details will be released, then say it won't happen. The non-Peanuts theme is surprising, but what I'm really excited abot the new Night time show they were talking about! And the names, pictures, and map release to come soon will keep me interested!
