Regarding Diamondback: Words fail to describe the intense experience of this coaster.

I saw THE_BEASTmaster in the gold pass line for ERT. Popwar and ToastNJelly were sitting on a bench watching the splashdown around 1pm. I apologize for not introducing myself, we were on a bit of a mission at the moment. Of course I saw all the people in the group pic that violakat03 posted, along with windshawne, IBEW_Sparky, indianapolisman, Dane, BoddaH1994, Tom76257, and probably a few others that escape my mind at the moment. Andrew, I saw you because I remember the gunshow shirt. I think we passed each other several times in The Beast queue. You should have said something! AgentSoB, I am sorry I missed you, perhaps next time I will see you and say hello!

Hmmmm, if we have to get embedded RFID tags, I think I'll skip this one.

Congrats Jackson!! It is refreshing to hear GOOD news being reported for a change. You should be very proud of yourself for helping make a difference in someone's life!

Just a helpful tip for anyone making the shirts... make sure you set your image to print "flipped" or "mirrored". Thank goodness I printed a test sheet on regular paper first!!

Which Skyline Chili? My friend and I are arriving in town around 4 on Friday and processing our passes. Then we are staying in a hotel near the Beach so we can arrive at the park bright and early Saturday. Perhaps we will join you for dinner! I love Skyline!

I bought one just like that on ebay a little over a month ago. Your plate looks like it was taken care of a bit better than mine though. You must have been so excited to recieve that plate as a gift!! Kudos to your wife!

That's an awesome set of mugs! You are lucky that your Grandma had all those in her attic, I have been shopping Ebay for my ever-growing Kings Island collection!

I have been hoping for "less than perfect" weather for opening day. Not enough to cause the rides to not operate, but just enough to deter some people from going so there will be shorter lines. I love to go on days when there are scattered rain showers, it clears out a considerable amount of the crowd, then the sun comes back out!

I managed to make it 13 times last year, and I hope to make at least that many this year!

Very nice photos! I especially like the "photo by Avatar" mark! Also the dash pic was HILARIOUS!! It looks like you guys had fun after the tour as well. I wish we would have thought to ask if anyone was doing anything, cause Robin and I would have definitely tagged along. Perhaps next time!

Thanks for the kind comments everyone! I started putting the pictures together just to see the difference myself, and thought I would share with you all! Kawana, you should definitely introduce yourself! I don't know too many people yet, and I love meeting new people!! Avatar, Robin and I have never been accused of not having fun, thats for sure! Since we were in a group together, the majority of my pictures looked about the same as everyone else's. I decided to go through my pictures and show a comparison from 2008 to early 2009. Without further ado... The same support from a couple different views The splashdown Diamondback's Station Entry to The Beast. (Facing opposite direction, but it was the best I had!) Entry Plaza (Again, facing different direction.) Awesome TR. Very original, and the radar shots were a nice touch! While we were there, I made a comment that someone was probably watching us from the webcam. Now I know I was right!!

I used to have one 10+ years ago that had Vortex embroidered on the front. I kind of forget exactly what it looked like though. My personal favorite is the one I bought last season. Bright yellow, and it says "I ride the short coaster" on it. Suits me perfectly!

Yes, he did call you out by name. The way you rattled off the answer was very, very impressive! When we first started the GWL tour, and were walking down the hallway I saw a flash from directly behind me and I thought to myself, "I bet that's Jackson." I turned around, and sure enough, it was you! That's me (well the back of me) in the blue coat with the purple purse over my shoulder. I meant to come introduce myself later but I didn't get the chance to do so. Very nice PTR!!
