I think I might like to go to Kennywood and see just what a "lunch" coaster is. I've never heard of one of those.

I get what you are saying, it makes sense to me. I guess I never really thought about how they changed the color of the trains. It was probably easier to paint them than to take them apart and re-assemble them by color, or maybe it matters which order the cars go in so they just couldn't do that.

Glad to hear you had a great time! Hour lines for a Saturday at CP sound kind of light! I don't get water out of the machines because they will give you a cup of ice water for free at most of the stands. I've never checked out any of the haunted houses in the area. Perhaps I should do that sometime!

Very nice TR! Yes, they still have the kiddie whip at KI. On our trip to Dorney earlier this summer, I was also very impressed with the atmosphere of the park. The lack of long lines also helped! I highly recommend a trip to Dorney for anyone who is able. I like to think of it as "Cedar Fair's best kept secret."

It did seem very sad. It was odd walking beside it without the fountains going.

No wonder the park was empty today... Ogrmac, who didn't see any rabid animals at SFA today.

Actually, if you go to Dorney Park, you will find the organ on their carousel to be quite operational...

I was going to say pick Sunday and Monday, but the hour of ERT, plus Diamondback at midnight makes Saturday a good option too. Crowds are much lighter on Sunday than on Saturday though. Couldn't tell you what they look like on Mondays though, cause I am always at work!
