Umm, not having to blow extra dough on Prestige to get all parks passport... which I would have with the jank stunt they pulled with KI Gold requiring Prestige to get APP... when all I really want/need is access to the parks I mentioned and maybe CP once or twice. This eliminates my requirement for both needless upgrades.

After seeing the new options, I am also happy to have not bought anything yet. The new Regional Gold will be perfect for me, considering all I will be doing in regards to SF this season will be KI and SF:Great America primarily with many trips planned for both and it ends up saving me a decent amount of money. Even if its only a couple hundo or less in savings once all my add-ons are placed, that will still drop the monthly or will open me up to getting things I may not get on the pass otherwise.

If there is anything left proper in this forsaken pile of a land, this suit will fail miserably. This is why there needs to be a penalty put in place of 10x requested damages if a suit like this is filed and the plaintiff loses. My thoughts, wont change them, dont try.

They could never, ever put a timer on a Freestyle machine, ar least not at any of the KI locations… has anyone actually taken time while in line to watch WHY the lines are so long? Because the people who need an instruction manual for walking and the kids get utterly baffled by a drink dispenser with more than 5 choices and the assembly line grinds to a quick halt.

As much as I hate to say this considering I USED to consider it my adopted home parl, WoF needs to go. The company with all of its current problems doesnt need WoFs problems, buuuuuuuut since I have a feeling FUN will wish to remain in that region and the choice would be WoF or SF/StL they will dump SF/StL given the choice. With the condition of their financials, I can most certainly see VF, MiA, and/or Dorney out the door as well. Now, with all that being said, I already envision Herschend pulling a bit of a Gary Story here with the number of expenditures they have been making in the past few years, so to me it is not something I see them being able to do in the very short term, maybe 3-5 years but does FUN have that long? My thoughts are "no", but Im spitballing and on my way out anyway so Im just putting thoughts out as a JAFO.

Exactly all of this, and @KI Guy, reasons 1 and 2 on your list. There is no roller coaster in the World at this point and time in my life that is worth more than a 30 minute wait (15 ish at KI simply because I could make the drive there every weekend if I truly wished to), and you flat dont get on Mav and SV in less than 30 without FL+.

This is why I continue to hold off and am still over 70% against getting a pass again, because ANY limits to the amount of times I can ride a ride with FL+ will kill any desire whatsoever for me to have one again. I know, I know they arent doing anything to FL+ YET, but I think we also all remember 11 and midnight closes and didnt think those would ever go away.

I am going to COS next May to visit my Mother, scout jobs and network, and attend the Thunderbirds demonstration at the Air Force Academy Graduation next year and Im happy to see you had a good experience at Elitch because I am planning on stopping in for a bit.

Old-school metallic dark gray pass with the new numbers

As silly as it sounds, I absolutely spaced the idea of printing the screen image of the barcode and laminating it for wallet keeping! Im definitely utilizing that if I get a new pass!

I dont think food trucks that do not accept the meal plan are sustainable at KI. To your point, as much as I and maybe some others without a meal plan or pass in general enjoy things like that to have a different or off the wall option, it doesnt fit KIs guest demographic of majority local passholders who likely DO have the meal plan. Im not sure how the ones at CP performed, but if they did not succeed there with that different demographic, then odds of them surviving here are... IMHO... below low.

The coneys on @kingsislandfan1972s pic look like the prize they used to advertise on the cereal box, and yours look like the prize that we actually got! Also, in answer to the above question regarding Enrique's, I either eat there and get the steak bowl, or the Bacon Mac and Chee at Tom and Chee's and both are very good. As mentioned above, Enrique's is just Pantherion to Hank's I305.

The way I see it, they didnt re-theme FoFs building or anything within it, so this whole wad of cash and ridiculous 1/2+ season of downtime for the ride could have been solved by simply ponying up the dough and giving it to Theresa Earnhardt (the owner of all Earnhardt Sr. intellectual property rights since DEI was dissolved) to renew the licensing agreements to keep it I-305.

Yes, the two still existing that Ive never ridden and will under NO circumstance ever strap into are Drop Tower and WindSeeker. Not even if I was dying, BIG N-O-P to the E, you will not get me to that height or higher on anything besides a traditional coaster style lift-hill.

That doesnt surprise me one bit at that joint, they would charge you to breathe beach air if they could. Of course it wouldnt come as a HUGE surprise to see it go chainwide, it stands to reason they would put it in play first there at Disneyworld Jr.

Can we please also take a moment to call out that hokey-a$$ repaint on the Monte Carlo bodies, especially the “eyes” where the headlight decals used to be, who did that Doswell Elementary students??? Way to “phone it in” SF!

Tried absolutely as hard as possible to concentrate on watching the trains and loading/offloading and vehemently ignoring people in the line because 90% of what is seen and overheard (like one braintrust who was claiming his friends that Backlot inverted 3 times inside the building) in a line drives me bananas. Now, if I don't have FL... well I don't go without FL, but if I HAD to Id go to a park with someone to enjoy the time with.
