Yup, Racer started it all. I'm sure it would have happened eventually, but before Racer, society as a whole was getting bored with coasters.

Call me stupid, but by 2014, PKI will have another coaster, and I think it will be a big one. Maybe not over 200 feet, but big like Vortex. IJST is basically a highly themed Adventure Express, or in other words, a really mild family ride, probably along the lines of Rugrats Runaway Reptar. We will get something a little more thrilling by 2014. Face/Off is not a big coaster in size, but its big in my book, cause its a major attraction, and a real scream machine. So I think that by 2014 we will get something cool. They aren't going to remove Vortex and put in a ferris wheel. If they do, Ill move to Sandusky!

Actually it will be an Intamin Gyro Swing, not a Huss Giant Frisbee. At least thats what I read. So it will be closer to Psyclone at PCW than Delirium.

Thats what I have been saying all along! IJST will usher in the platinum age of roller coaster design! j/k But I do expect some major coasters from PKI!

I think the sites will merge eventually. I am sure Dan and Dane are very competent web programers, but I know, doing one site, without dynamic content is a bi***. I coudln't imagine doing a site like PKIC or PKIU. And I am sure that for simplicity's sake they will merge them. I just hope we get to keep our status. I am a newbie here, but on PKIU I am a bronze member. And there are lots of people that have a lot of posts. Will IBP let you merge forums and keep posts? Also, I am happy for it, because I think the administration of PKIC is much better than PKIU. I am sure they will clean up the boards! Dont remind me! It won't work on my PC cause its too old, and there is not a Mac version yet. I'm hoping they will release a version for Mac sometime. It'd be a shame if I had to buy a new pc just for RCT3.

I plan to continue the diet I started a month ago, and hopefully I can fit on Delirium, and FOF next year. I'm just a tad too big. During the off season, I will probably take more credit hours at school to keep me busy. Plus I'll probably go to the theater more now, and I'm 21 now, so who know what will happen!

Think about it, the only reason to have water pipes on the italian job is for the water splash at the end. So obviously the splash will be close to that midway.

That's why I always let my hair grow out in the winter! Wear a hat or one of those beanie things. I think they are in style these days.

I too have had a creepy experience on Beast. Its in the tunnel after the brake shed, where it goes underground. A couple of times that I have done it at night, I swear it feels like there is somebody in front of me, looking at me. Not in front of me, like in the seat in front of me, but like between the headrest of the seat in front of me and my face. It is like somebody is looking me in the eye, coming out of the back of the headrest in front of me. I have never seen it, but I swear I can feel it. I feel like if I put my hand in front of my face, I am going to be touching it. Its DANG CREEPY. Its the only time I was ever scared on Beast. But I was really scared. I was just having a fun time on Beast, then I was just struck with terror when I sensed/saw it in front of me.

No, its the same PKI man. He was banned, but came back on under a different spelling of the word. And I think we all love PKI. Is there anybody on here who actually hates PKI? And are you going to keep those strands of hair on the front, or are you going to cut them off? Congrats on the free 05 pass though!

Correct me if I am wrong, but where the Eagles used to be will be the loading station right? And the unload will be where the roadside cafe is. I think the launch will go toward HB/Nick, then go into that big upward helix in the parking garage. I am just trying to get an idea of how the ride will be layed out. I don't think we will see any vertical construction before Nov 7.

Wow! But, you kind of earned it. Insulting a mod on his forum isn't a good idea. Pat is awesome, and an excellent moderator, in my opinion. All the mods on here are great, but sobrider and AZ Kinda Guy are the best. But anyways, the sign is neat. I think we have established this by now. PS - There's nothing wrong with shaggy hair!

Probably not for 06, but I am sure we will get another large scale steel coaster soon. The last 'major' coaster we got was SOB in 2000. Personally, I can really see a B&M invert like Top Gun: The Jet Coaster at Carowinds opening at PKI themed to Skycaptain and the World of Tomorrow. But as far as a giga coaster (giga is 300 feet right?), I am sure we will get something along those lines in the next decade.

My source also said that the Lodge will include a 40,000 square foot conference center, a 74,000 square foot indoor water park and 401 hotel suites. But I was thinking - 74,000 square feet is just under two acres. I believe an acre is 200x200, or 40,000 square feet. So thats not very big. So I wouldn't count on having anything really spectacular in it - thats enough room for a full sized pool and a few slides. But it would be cool if it was open all year around! And open to pass-holders!

I agree. A lot of people get very enthused about PKI. I am one of them. That is why we are on this website. However, I think I have picked up a fan, Mr. pastecaesar, who every time I post something anymore, says "I really f-ing hate you, or your a f-ing ***." Insulting people because they like PKI is uncalled for, and those type of people should be banned. I think the sign looks great. I would have liked to see one with color - set up like the video screen in Times Square or something. That would have been really cool!

I wasn't talking about expanding into The Beast area. I was just wondering how much of the undeveloped land is acutally available for expansion. I don't remember where I read it, but I heard something about the new Lodge and indoor waterpark being built where the campground is now, and the campground moving. But we can't believe all rumors we read!

Does anybody know how many of the undeveloped 300 or so acres of land The Beast is sitting on? I always could see them putting a coaster behind FoF. Also, if they did move the campground to behind the water park, they could take down Top Gun and they would have a ton of room. They could put in a Star Trek themed Intamin Giga Coaster!

Italian Job is nothing more than a well-themed Adventure Express. It won't be very exciting. What I look forward to is what PKI might get in the future, beyond IJST.
