Well maybe he had a brain fart.. in which case I'm sorry. Wasn't trying to be an @$$... so I guess I corrected a typo of his too if that is indeed the case.

Ok, now I see the box. The first few times I loaded the page, nothing showed up. But the most recent time I tried, the little teaser box popped up on the site. Pretty cool! To me, it looks like a dinosaur eye. T-rex or maybe Velociraptor

Sorry for the double post, but not to nitpick: It's UNFORTUNATELY, and MANEUVER. You had two words and I only had one. I would say that you need to check your own spelling before you start playing teacher with others. Wow, I did put a smiley face. Chill. I wasn't trying to be mean or anything. Besides, it's not the same. My mistake was a few typos (because I type too quick for my own good), while your mistake seemed to be misinformation. And since I love the plane, I wanted to KINDLY correct you (so you knew). I felt I had made that obvious, and as I said, was not trying to be mean.

Most Insane Ride Ever!
pyrocoasterkid replied to RailRider's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
Idk, I think this is one of the most insane rides ever; also on the Stratosphere. Too bad none of this was there when I was in Vegas in 2002. It's called Insanity: Holy bejesus. That high off the ground, FACING the ground. -
The air show was great, even without the Thunderbirds or Blue Angels. I was there on Saturday. The F-22 is an absolutely amazing aircraft. A plane that can literally just hover like it does, or do a still loop with its thrust vectoring is a pretty awesome plane. It literally almost stopped, then did a loop just by aiming its thrust, pivoting around its nose. It was unreal! It is such a beautiful aircraft too! Every maneuver seemed like something only the F-22 could do. It was cool how close they parked them near fans in down time. Rest of the demonstrations were awesome too. And there were quite a few static aircraft that you could walk through. Lots of noise, sights, stunts, planes, and unfortunately, sunburn! A great day though! Nice pix too! Is there anyway you could make the last pic of the F-22 larger for a wallpaper? (the last solo one showing the whole top of the aircraft). 1280x800 possibly?

Delerium looks like it's in the air. The shadow doesn't lie. The ring you see is the lowered floors. It looks like white concrete down there, not colorful Delerium seats. The only other possibility (though I don't think it's the case), is that this is where the 2 images from 2 passes or photos were meshed; the shadow in one, the ride/car in another.

So what exactly was the video signifying? I saw it, and am excited, but not sure about what. Is it about the new coaster? or is it about a KICentral KI event?
-
Hmm, I just saw the mobileclub user video.. And now I'm excited, but not sure about what. Is this about the new coaster or is this something else?
-
Any time anyone responds to a KIC Mobile Alert, I get an email. At 8:00pm tonight, I will respond to all messages with the text that everyone else received. Ah! Thank you for clearing that up!

Sending "The Second Coming" did nothing for me

I was at CP about a month ago, and TTD was down early on in the morning.... Mid afternoon when my buddy and I did get in line, some woman was talking like she knew what she was talking about and said "this was closed this morning, because they had to replace the rubberbands they use to launch you, since they brake almost daily. And after a while, it opened but the only put people in the first 2 rows, so the rubberbands could warm up." While it was true that early on cool mornings, they only run a few rows on TTD until it warms up, are guests really stupid enough they would use something as cost ineffective as RUBBERBANDS?! especially if they broke daily. And could rubberbands really launch something that big to that high of a speed?! Come on. I just let it ride, and explained to my friend later how ridiculous her comment really was.

It's funny you should say that, since when I was there last Monday (a week and a half ago), it was closed all day. I wasn't too disappointed.. overall, DW is a cool park, especially with the new coasters, rides, and section of the park.

When I was there friday, nothing was lit up, no music was on, and nothing moved. The big skull/bat whatever thing in the 2nd room was open the whole time. Rest of the themeing was dark, and no music was heard... I was rather disappointed. The ride was much more intense, but it was nothing more than a ride in a box.

angrybeaver's huge Photo/video trip report (4/26/08)
pyrocoasterkid replied to DropZone99's topic in Trip Reports
I think you all are looking way into this... it's nothing.. -
My post meant something that "I've" personally seen.. guess I shoulda specified more.. Idk, I guess the picture makes it look bigger than it is for some reason?! Btw, I would be happy if it was a dive coaster, but I'd be happier if it wasn't
-
Hah I didn't necessarily mean that it was going to be a dive coaster, just something LARGE. I qualify Tatsu as a fairly large ride. My post was more intended to point out that this just about confirms a "large" ride (as if that wasn't already assumed )
-
There is only one type of ride that I've ever seen with a support that big: ...This is my cousin in front of the support/footing of Sheikra. The second I saw that support in the midway pic, this is what I thought of... Then again, I've never been on a B&M hyper, so I can't speak for those...
-
maybe, maybe not... as it's been suggested, that looks alot like transer track footings.. They are generally smaller and in a rows and columns, like here. It's kinda hard to judge the size of them based on the movie/pix... coincidence that they're in the exact same place of the station in the rumored layouts? Who knows, we will see.
-
We were planning on going to KI tonight, Monday October 29th, and I was wondering what rides are planned to be open? Are all rides planned to be open, or is it a limited number? I apologize if this is listed here somewhere, but I was hoping to get an answer ASAP, with a class coming up now. Thanks all

Cedar Point Max Passes now scan at Kings Island
pyrocoasterkid replied to raptor's topic in Kings Island
So does this mean the Kings Island Cedar Fair Maxx Passes will now scan at the Cedar Point gate? because that was slightly inconvienent...
