What are those 2 little squares inside the other boundaries that they dont own? Seems kinda dumb to me.. It's kinda like RCT...

Well that sucks for me.... I was there last wednesday and it was rediculously crowded... Everything had a huge wait.. I don't think ive ever seen it so crowded on a week day... Heck that was more crowd than on alot of the weekends ive visited

Proof that it exists: GADV new ride The layout of SOB is great, It's the company that built it. If I remember, PKI sued because of the poor engineering and design. It was a mess. Hopefully Intamin has corrected these issues of a hyper woodie

Well unless I'm wrong, this coaster has been confirmed. The details have not as far as I know, except that it will be made by Intamin. I can't remember where I saw these links. Anyone? I'm not sure that this is a great idea, unless Intamin has found a way to keep the roughness down, and an ability to keep the ride together. Don't get me wrong, I love SOB, but I think it is a poorly designed ride.

In the enquirer article: "on a scale of 1-10, I give it a 23!" Wow....alls I have to say is Wow... I mean nothing like over exaggerating there. 11 is one thing, but 23?

It's pretty bad when they have to put signs up like this IMO. They are afraid people will sue, and in this sue-happy country, they probably eventually will or already have.. Kinda pathetic....

Well, since I couldn't find a topic about this, I started a new one.... I rode SOB this past weekend, the 8th, and both my brother and I were pleasently surprised with its overall smoothness. It seems that massive amounts of the ride have been retracked. I actually enjoyed myself without having to protect myself. I know last year, my last ride beat me up. To me, this is how a woody should be... I would even dare say that it is smoother than beast *takes cover*... Does anyone have any info?

Here is a ride with that is the same make and model as the Bavarian Beetle...] Similar Ride There was quite a few of these made, from the looks of RCDB. Im not totally sure, but I imagine all are the same except color...

B&M coaster! PKI is in desperate need of a B&M of any sort. They are high-quality ride and deliver a great run, all while keeping the PPH up (which also depends on the ride-ops). They stand the test of time, and remain very popular years later (look at Raptor). PKI does NOT need another themed coaster, we need inversions! My opinion tho...

I believe MaXair's swing is 3' higher only because they made the footers 3' higher. The ride is a clone of Delerium, so I don't think the actual swing is any higher, just the higher footers. I may be wrong on my assumption tho...

You might be a PKI addict if.... You skip work or school to go to PKI, especially on the construction tours...

Well I was looking at ride accidents yesterday too, on the CoasterForce page, and a few things were interesting...I knew about The Beast incident. I knew a boy fell out of the Drop Zone at PGA, but did a man fall out of PKI's??? According to this page, there was (scroll to August 1999): Accidents Also, interesting was the fact that I don't see the accident where Top Gun hit the cherry picker or whatever. Whatever came of this? and what was found out about what happened?

Well from knowing very little of what I do about laying sod or seed down to grow grass, I know that whenever you want to grow grass, you put a nice 1"-2" of a good layer of fresh, ground dirt, making it as smooth as possible. From the looks of this picture, it looks like they plan on putting something in there- GRASS!! -Hopefully that changes next season...

It was kinda wierd looking without the Tiques there. What made me wonder even more is the fact that where the flying Eagles used to be, there is even more land than before IJ:ST. I don't understand why the had to take them out. I was never a huge fan of them, but I'm sure some people around here are really wondering why?!? IJST did seem slow; hopefully the music, sounds, and themeing makes up for it. I also saw it complete a few runs today, and I hope it impresses me; as it didn't do that today...

Though its very unlikely, Ive always thought it would be cool to add on to Top Gun; it still has sooo much speed at the end of the ride....even if it does simulate a carrier landing. On topic of the cars, my brother and I were at PKI today (Sunday the 10th) and Top Gun only had one train running. Not only was only one car running, there was no other train in sight. Anyone no where it is? Rehab still?

A B&M speedcoaster is the name for a B&M hypercoaster above 200 feet, and no inversions(well none thus far)). They look to be awesome rides. They are also known as a B&M Mega Coaster. The four that have been designed and built so far: Speed Coasters

Well that idea would be down right scary on Drop Zone. Yes, Acrophobia does this, but the tower is only in the lower 200 foot range tall, so the drop is even less...

Yup, the results of Coasterbuzz's Coasters' Choice Awards Are in, and our good old beast again pulled of the top spot in "Best Wooden Coaster." PKI did pretty good overall, and unless I'm wrong, PKI came in second place in "Best Capacity," "Best Overall Park," and "Best Theme." PKI did as well as expected, no shockers this year.... Yea, the movie never really has good guys in it, since the group we follow is trying to steal back something they stole that got stolen from them. In other words, there is bad guys and more bad guys. The more bad guys steal the stolen gold from the bad guys because of a traitor. So the bad guys spend the movie trying to find a way to get their gold back from the traitor (the more bad guy). In the end, the bad guys get their gold back, and the more bad guys end up dead.... sooo, even though there are technically "bad guys," during the movie you are sitting there hoping they get the gold bag, as if you are thinking they are good guys...

Not that I believe him, as there is no evidence to support it, but there is also no evidence to support that one ISN'T going in within a few years. As far as I'm concerned, it's a rumor. The people saying it's false could also be pointed out as saying rumors. Like Homerjay said, even if it is made up, it could at least be talked about more or discuss the possibilities of it without people "getting up in arms." It's a website about PKI, his topic is about PKI. It's not like this topic is as far fetched as some. This is at least reasonable...

I know all this info is on RCDB, but how was this info found out? Not that i distrust RCDB, but I have never seen any info telling us this (or PCW). Anyone?

While I imagine this has been asked 1,000 times by now, I'm just curious to know when we will find at the specific details of this ride. As far as I know: launch speeds, launches, trains, length, or any other specific details like that have not been announced yet. We know only vague details here. Anybody have any ideas or good guesses, based on evidence?

Lots of pictures! Seeing these picture makes me want to ride the ride that much more. It seems to be shaping up nicely, also, quite rapidly...
