  1. I drive my friends nuts because that's all I talk about.....I'm super excited.
  2. we all have platinum passes so no worry there
  3. I'll be there along with my friend and cousin...not sure what we'll be wearing but we're trying to find others to hand out with for the day so we won't have an odd number.
  4. I'll enjoy myself as long as the rain holds out. I'll have to check out Grizzly
  5. Well, everything got pushed a day back because my cousin has jury duty tomorrow. On saturday, Doswell has a 60% chance of rain. Would it still be worth going. I know that on days with rain the crowds tend to be really light but we don't wanna get down there and everything be closed.. What do you think we should do?
  6. Thanks for all the info. You guys have helped a lot. Right now they're predicting a 40% chance of showers that day. I hope it doesn't keep all the rides closed. That would be a real bummer
  7. Does anyone know anything about the turnpike is W.V. Is there a better way to go than that. IF not, anyone know the prices....
  8. Sept 28, 0f 1988. about 5 months after amazon falls opened
  9. Turns out we're not going to Busch Gardens....but still to Kings Dominion. Cannot wait.
  10. thats good to know. wouldn't have been good to get down there hungry and not have anything around.
  11. Honestly, we try to eat as little inside the park as possible. At Kings Island the only thing I bought all year, whether being food or beverage, was bottles of Coke. I bought a soft pretzel one time but it ended up being a not so soft pretzel.
  12. My cousin and I are planning a little trip to Kings Dominion next week. We plan on leaving thursday night and arriving early friday morning...Does anyone have any tips, must rides, etc. This will be my first trip out of Ohio just to visit a park...Also, how far is Busch Gardens from KD. IF it aint too far we might head there on saturday. Any tips or must rides from that park as well?
  13. I have a feeling the next to weeks are going to take forever...but having a countdown on my desktop doesn't really help speed things along.
  14. I know this ain't really that old but I love the expressions we all had....I'm in the black shirt.
  15. My opening day plans are as follows....1. arrive early with my best friend and cousin just to wait. Don't know what time yet but figuring sometime between 7:30 and 8:30....2. Running straight to Diamondback at the drop of the rope and ROTB. 3. After Diamondback, ride The Beast, Vortex, and Flight of Fear. 4. Another ride on The Beast.....5. If enough time is left, another ride on Diamondback...
  16. Don't pass on the chance this year, its amazing.
  17. The Beast is an absolute must ride at night....Firehawk is really cool...my first ride on it was at night... and the fireworks went off as we were going up the lift...absolutely amazing.
  18. Mine was King Cobra. I'll never forget that day. Sparked my current love of rollercoasters.
  19. that would be A LOT of grass to mow.
  20. I usually keep my hands up on all rollercoasters. Son of Beast can be fun as long as you sit in the right seat. Concerning The Beast, hands up from first lift to second lift, down going up the lift, and arms up but slanted to the right during the helix. I've never even had so much as a scratch from that tunnel.
  21. ^ I agree. They have to pay off that $22 Million some way.
  22. 1980 would have to be my guess
