I now have no doubt that this is KD.There is the Spanish mission style building with the patio on the left.There is no such building at KI,but it's in the same spot at KD.There is also the building with the spires on the right.What is now the Starbucks building looks just like this.And as Terpy pointed out the fountain looks more like KD's instead of KI's.

It was so great to hear the Enchanted Voyage song in the Action Theater a few years ago,when the HB movie played.I got to ride the antique cars at Kings Dominion three days ago.While riding I looked over at the Eiffel Tower and in that moment I felt like a kid again.

We will get an announcement about SOB only when the park is ready to do so.Something will eventually be done with the ride(overhaul,removal,etc.)but not until the park feels confident to do so.

When Kings Island's season pass processing starts,I'm going to go there one evening to have my Kings Dominion pass scanned to see if it works at KI.Hopefully there won't be any issues with it,but one can't be too sure.

I saw Dynomutt at the park when I was about 7 and had a picture taken with him.I didn't know who he was at the time.This was in 1983.The show had been off the air for a few years and the reruns on Cartoon Express hadn't started yet.I didn't recognize the character and said that he was one of Scooby's relatives.He kept pointing at the D on his chest.Well that's not gonna work on kids who haven't seen the show at that time lol.

Same here...although I am guessing that most of the kids are asking who is Avery Schreiber! I had to Google to find out who Avery Schreiber was. Of course, growing up in the 70's and 80's, once I saw his picture I knew exactly who he was! I remember Avery Schreiber-he and his comedy partner, Jack Burns ( He replaced Don Knotts in Andy Giffith ) used to have a variety show together. They were both really funny together. I also remember Avery Schreiber doing Doritos ads. I remember Avery Schreiber from the Doritos commercials and game show appearances when I was a kid.I still wonder what he was doing on The Racer with a chicken.

Okay,I have to ask.What tv show featured Avery Schreiber and the chicken on The Racer?

The Looney Toon characters at Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom would mess around with guests like that.They would do things like grab my hat or hold their hand out for a five and then pull it away.I loved it.But alas, that now is also in the past.

I used to live within 100 miles of a Six Flags park.But I live 22 miles from the largest competitor.
