A duck was named after me.I'm touched.

I wore my Pink Floyd hoodie yesterday,so I would have to agree.

Wait a minute... I have fans? And if I do, why are they unfairly being cut out? Looks like tomorrow I need to have a talk with Don or Matt, whoever wrote this. Vive le Gator! Aw,Heck. How do you know they're not talking about rotag?

It appears that CF is using that commercial chainwide. Here's one for Kings Dominion.

Not sure if they would figure you as gay by going. It's not a night for just gay people at the park.I'm not gay and I'll probably go this year. The only thing keeping me from going last year was not having money for a ticket.

The Flying Eagles have been repainted again in orange, yellow and blue with Woodstock on them.I rode them just last Saturday. Some riders were getting them quite high and you could hear the cables snapping all over. Many amusement park enthusiasts consider them among the best of flying scooter rides.

I'm not 100% sure (it's been a loooooong time since I've been there), but I don't think the lasers on Scooby at Canada's Wonderland showed the red dots. There were no red dots on Boo Blasters at Carowinds. But they were present on Kings Dominion's Boo Blasters.

I have to agree with everything Dave said about Kings Quarters.A very nice place and will definitely stay there again. The only real drawback is that it's more of a motel with room entrances from the outdoors.

It was about 11am.It was just a few minutes later a Platinum Pass holder had the same thing happen to him,got very irate, and had security called on him.I don't know if he was accused of having previously entered.

Cedar Fair really needs to get their act together with the platinum passes. On Friday at Kings Dominion everyone with a Kings Island PP would not scan.No red x came up.Just a blank area on the screen where the picture is.A manager just waived us in because we were trying to get to the ert on I-305.On Saturday at Carowinds the passes did not scan again.A manager came over and took our passes, wnet over to guest relations and few minutes later came back with tickets for us.It had "King's Island Platinum Walk-In" printed on it.(Yes it had the apostrophe on it.)Someone in our group mentioned it was as if they expected this type of thing to happen. We also had an issue with the re-entry hand stamps at Carowinds. They had the logo for Ricochet on them.We showed the attendant our stamps and were promptly told that those were not the stamps being used for today. We told them that it was indeed the stamp and I was going to show my ticket that I received earlier.A manager came over and told the attendant that those were the stamps being used and we walked right in.But I did think that the employees were polite.I don't remember if we got an apology for our trouble(probably not). But I didn't get a feeling of rudeness.

Yes I know you can go to a different page by changing the number.I was just pointing out the one name.I heard it from a little yellow birdie named Woodstock. He heard it from the Dippin' Dots guy.

Why so? Demon Drop looked like so much fun. I regret not riding it. I think he means that KI would consider Demon Drop a coaster.

http://www.visitkingsisland.com/attractions/detail.cfm?ai_id=653 It looks like the ride formerly known as Avatar will be called Snoopy Surf Dog.Ugh.

World's most popular beagle arrives at Kings Island

You did bring up an interesting point about the HB contract expiring in 2009.I've always heard that there was a separate agreement with Sally for SDATHC that expired in a few years.I'm not sure if that covered just the ride or if it also included having Scooby as a costumed character.I'm assuming that Cedar Fair thought it would be easier to change everything in the kid's areas in one year rather than doing it in two separate years.I'm also assuming that they would rather have had just one cartoon dog character at some of their parks rather than two.It does make sense from a business standpoint to have uniformity of cartoon characters used in the parks chainwide. -

Costume? You mean Scooby isn't real?(Uh Terpy, all my posts bout Scooby visiting were to be taken in jest,as if he were really a former park employee.) -

Aren't some of the paying customers walking characters themselves?Scooby is allowed to visit the park as long as he pays his admission. He might be paying with a big jar of nickels. -

Charlie Brown might have to pretend that he's blind so Snoopy can have some fun too. -

That suit is awfully small for two people to be in... Not if they are little people. Really? I mean, Really? You mean really?I don't. Sure. Sure you don't. Well I'm glad that makes one of us. -

Scooby was originally going to be called Too Much.Head of CBS programming Fred Silverman heard Frank Sinatra's Strangers in the Night on a plane. He decided to rename the character from Sinatra's scatting in the song.I believe I have heard somewhere that he mis-heard "Dooby dooby doo"as 'Scooby dooby doo".

Anyone who meets the requirements for the office can run. It's just a matter of convincing enough people to vote for you via campaigning.
