  1. I'm sure it was a simple togo in both articles...

    I don't think you're the only one.
  3. The colors on the mug would probably put it in the mid to late '80's. I've found a few items at garage sales, always great to find those! I have collected way too much KI memorabilia-from garage sales, my own park purchases, and eBay. I think when I buy a house I'm going to have a KI room.
  4. Wow, how embarrassing! What an important word to misread! I hope Scooby is still allowed in the park!
  5. Well, actually other types of service dogs are also allowed in the park, but most doggies are relegated to elsewhere. The real question...where is Scooby allowed in the park now? Only with you or can he go in? Ah, the answer awaits most patrons on April 17... As for Seeing Eye Dogs, did you know that is one organization that provides guide dogs? http://www.seeingeye.org/aboutUs/ Will Snoopy be in unexpected areas of the park, other than PS? Why would Snoopy only be allowed to come in with a patron? Some patrons will find out before April 17?
  6. I don't think I've ever pulled into KI's lot without saying to myself "First ones here!, first ones here!".
  7. Oh well, it looks like we'll have to go back to talking about the merger...
  8. I could actually see KI putting a coaster in this location for several reasons. Flight Deck has been left for dead, and SOB is a well-documented basket case. If those two rides were taken out of commission, due to their placements at the very edge of the park, it wouldn't be much of a change to KI's footprint. With the rehabbing of Rivertown along with DB's installation last year, they have already done much to make it an almost-new area, much like they did with Action Zone in the '90's and 2000's.
  9. Looks like DB's ravine (edit, too slow... ).
  10. I like riding first thing in the morning on a nice summer day, 70-80 degrees. I wish Kings Island opened earlier (in the day, that is)!
  11. Sometimes I have to be smacked up side the head before I catch onto an idea, but if this is a rumor about what I think it might be, this is why this is my FAVORITE place on the Internet (or some other places, for that matter)...
  12. scooby do is going to stay That's great, but what about Scooby DoO? -KIFan73, who just HAD to
  13. Hard to imagine people riding roller coasters and walking around here in 66 days... http://kingsislandinsider.blogspot.com/
  14. I would like to thank any of you that showed up and showed support for all of us Kings Island visitors/fans that weren't able to!
  15. It sounds like Mason's city council is gambling with the idea that once you've driven yourself (and others) a fair distance for a fun day at the amusement park, you won't turn around and go home because of this tax.
  16. I would think the goal would be to help out Kings Island's largest customer base.
  17. Kings Island tax vote Monday, new amendment recommended http://www.wxix.com/Global/story.asp?S=11943299
  18. But, if you were in your senior year of high school, would you say that you've been in high school 3 years +, or would you say this was your fourth year of high school?
  19. Happy Birthday WWC! I think White Water Canyon is truly a "hidden" gem at Kings Island. It's such a unique experience.
  20. Something about biting hands comes to mind here...
  21. (The quote feature didn't work real well, above were my comments about the Mason Council meeting a few months ago. ) http://visitkingsisland.com/events/event_detail.cfm?event_id=680&ec_id=15
  22. And to think that I was pondering taking some business classes at my local university. All I've had to do is stay tuned to KIC!
