Some Fun Kings Island and ASA Photos from Thursday
Haha Love the last photo!

some ERT questions
Season passes and tickets can only be scanned once at the front gate. Don't make the mistake a bunch of people do by exiting the park without a hand stamp and try to enter again with their ticket/pass. Goofy, who asks everyone to please get hand stamps!

Kings Island Will Be The Place To Be This Memorial Day Weekend!
Thanks guys! I think I might just have some time to ride this weekend. If not my last day of school is next Friday so I have the whole summer!

old top gun photos?
And throw down another 20 million? And create another ride that not all of the family can enjoy? Why not just give Flight Deck some TLC. I love B&M inverts, so powerful an intense. But the park is not in a position, especially after Diamondback, to construct a brand new B&M. I would love to see B&M try to work with that terrain though. Something like Nemesis would be fun but that is just me dreaming.

I'm kinda scared for this weekend. Working in admissions is going to be a madhouse.

You can also see a good deal of the red near the rear of the station as well. I really wish FD would have received a new paint job rather than Vortex. I still love you Vortex, but Flight Deck stole my heart first.

2 day visit ?
Plus you can buy the Pay Once Visit Twice ticket which is the same price as a One Day Admission but you can come to the park another time any day of the season. So why not go a second day!

Possible to fly out of DB?
^There is a stapler on The Racer who loves to find some empty space and replace it with a nice lap bar. Every time he's checked my bar I have it at a good spot and he pushes it lower. I know it's for safety but I'm not a skinny little kid.

2009 Cedar Point Opening Day PTR & VTR
I enjoyed reading your report! Having not been to the park in 9 years I really don't know what it is like any more. Since I can get into Cedar Point for free this year I really need to plan a trip up there this summer. Thanks for getting me excited! I hope I like Millie (almost) as much as you.

Spitting?
I went tot the park today for a couple hours before work with some friends and we decided to take a nice ride on Red Racer. We were pulling out of the station when all of the sudden a huge glob of spit comes flying down from the exit bridge and lands on my shirt. I was extremely disgusted and didn't get a look at who did it. We came back into the station and there was no one on the bridge anymore. This was the most disgusting thing to happen to me at Kings Island and I cannot believe the incredible low maturity level of some people. Other than that I had a fun day!

Son of Beast
Really? Would you like to read the first sentence on this Kings Island website? http://www.visitkingsisland.com/attractions/

How much does it cost to completely tear down a wooden coaster anyway? Do you really think in these times after spending 22 million on a new B&M that they want to spend the money to completely take away a coaster that a lot of the GP enjoy. Why would you consider tearing down a coaster while you are an amusement park trying to compete against other parks competing ifor who has the most coasters. SOB is a very popular and amazing ride no matter what any of you say. I read some RWW PTRs saying "Oh what an amazing structure". Yeah some of you might say that it would cost more to "fix" the ride than to tear it down. What you say and what the park management say are two incredibly different things backed up by two different experiences. We can't sit here and act like we know what we are saying about what the park will do with this ride. Why not go have fun on the other 80 rides and shows KI has to offer with smaller lines because there is a handful of people over on the other side of the park waiting to ride the one coaster you refuse to ride. Be grateful for what you have and respect what everyone else has to say.

Son of Beast
"My point?" It's quite simple. Hercules was built 11 years earlier than SoB. How can you compare the two when it comes to demolishing besides the fact that they are under Cedar Fair. Easy. Cedar Fair made attempt after attempt after attempt to rectify the multiple problems with Hercules, Finally, they threw in the trowel. Viacom/CBS/Cedar Fair have made attempts after attempts after attempts to rectify the multiple problems with Son of Beast.... I'm not trying to be a brat or anything but are there really any problems with it right now besides the fact it is a "little" (tehe) rough especially in the rear of the train?

Cedar Fair has to pay all of it's employees to operate the ride and provide all of the utilities for the ride to operate correctly. I think they do a great job at keeping the tallest and fastest wooden roller coaster out there running great and I think they want to keep the coaster in their possession.

Cedar Point reveals new signs
I really like the new Magnum sign. Hopefully I can see it in person some time this summer. Thanks for posting!

I'm glad you all had such a successful weekend at Ride Warriors! Where exactly is the ASA Action Sports Tour event actually going to be inside the park?

What's up with Firehawk
I saw it running with two trains for the first time yesterday after it was down. It was around 2 and I was on The Racer watching it. The line, to my surprise, was short.
