I guess it just depends what they have in mind to take its place. That is if it is even coming down or if they even have anything in mind to put there.

I was driving by the park on my way home on New Years Eve and just sat in the drop off parking lot and looked at the park. It was awesome. Yes, I am a coaster nerd.

Kings Island is starting to sound more and more like Cedar Point. Planet Snoopy, Starlight Experience... I guess we will see if this actually falls through.

Timberliners on Beast?! I honestly have never thought of that. But I bet a lot of people would argue that it takes away from its older feel. But that is a really interesting thought.

Yup. Just go out to the ticket windows first and you should just have to pay the difference.

Not that I knew of. Everyone has to have a gold or platinum pass to enter the ERT area.

I remember sitting out on the patio eating lunch at the employee cafe area and listening to Pocketful of Sunshine by Natasha Bedingfield. And now every time that song comes on I think of that time. It was nice being out there all alone finally in peace so it's a good memory.

I really fell in love with Racer this year. It never really did much for me but I really enjoy it now. Thanks for sharing this great photo!

I posted as my facebook status on Friday as driving by the park at night confused as to Vortex was the only coaster with its lift lights on. And it also looked like Beast had its lights on at the top of the lift where the sign is.

I agree. That what ruins the ride for me. Hearing a song like that on a good ol' country train ride. I wish they would just play country or something music that was kinda unknown and put some actors at those buildings and make it a show.

Good one! The only objection I have to that is the midway mania arm that follows from pumping so hard.

Don't be stelin my record ya hear ........I mean it I actually might try for it sometime. I went on it 105 times last year but not all in one day. My most in one day was 36.

I just read something interesting on another forum. Someone said that they think the company might change their name to Cedar Fair? Same way Premier Parks renamed themselves Six Flags after buying the chain. Is that a possibility?

And just like that it happened. Dangit, I can't wear my Cedar Fair fleece to work anymore.

What does all of that mean? Is it good?

I drive by the park pretty often (every Tuesday especially) and I try to see if anything is going in. I am driving so it is hard to see but I can't really see anything going on. Of course I am driving and trying to keep my eyes on the road.

Very very interesting. I'm really confused about this though. Not about the debt but what the future of the parks is.

Didn't CP do that a few years back with Snoopy? They might have but I'm not sure.

I would love to see a marketing campaign with the peanut gang riding some coasters.
