The food at Winterfest was great tonight, except for one thing. It was the one thing I was really wanting. Poutine. Chef Nate missed the memo that Poutine does not have shredded cheese on it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I was listening to an antique car blowing its horn going down Coney Mall tonight. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Not sure if it has been answered in this thread or another. I did check with the park and you are allowed to leave and renter the park. So it is not like Haunt where once you leave you can’t re-enter. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

KI Computer Systems that create the KI Best Day

Which is now owned by Oracle. I guarantee once those licensing fees start rising CF will switch to something better. I would guess and say something AWS based. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Other things have hurt HW in the last season that is more damaging than KK. From what I have heard circulating, things may not be so hunky dory in Santa Claus, IN. I'm sure there are a couple of vultures just waiting for the chance to snatch it up. I honestly think someone will end up buying the park from the Koch family. I have 2 educated guesses to who I think would be interested. 1) Cedar Fair Why? Potential - The Koch family still owns a ton of undeveloped land around the park but lack the capital to develop it like a CF or SF. CF could expand the park and build hotels and other amenities to increase attendance and capital. Midwest Dominance in the amusement park industry. It would probably be the death nail for KK, but it would severely hamper Six Flags dominance in the MO, IL, and Western IN, and KY market. Six Flags only has 2 parks in the midwest (St. Louis and Great America). Consumers would have a better value with a CF Platinum pass which would work at six parks in the region compared to two parks for Six Flags. 2) Ed Hart Why? Kentucky is landlocked and has a height restriction that hampers the ability to install more rides and taller rides. This hurts growth. HW is his biggest competitor in the area. If Hart owned both parks he could create a small chain which would allow him to add a "premium" pass for access to both parks. This would generate more attendance and capital and allow the chain to grow. The KK/HW chain would control the area and then would have to up the game to complete with SF and CF

As far as MT shed changing, it’s possible that WF themed programming already exist. Just need to switch it over. We shall see on 11/24. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yeah, I don’t think Drop a Tower would be very popular during Winterfest. Also, most people wouldn’t be able to ride it with all the extra layers. [emoji38] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

In the past the dates were usually released in late January or early February. Things can always change. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I can’t wait for Coasterstock next year. Will have to see what Don and his crew have up their sleeves for next year. I’ll also be attending Holiwood Nights for the first time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ellie, Coaster Crew has not been invited to Coastermania for the last couple of years. Cedar Point does not recognize them for this event. Remember, you get what you pay for. My ACE membership is more expensive, but there are way more perks and events than the other clubs. I have not experienced any elitist attitudes from any ACE members I’ve met. I was on it about 3 weekends ago during Haunt and the Red side brake on the turnaround failed to engage. Made for a very fast and smooth ride. Let's just say we made it back to the brake run and the blue train was just coming out turn around.

Anyone have any photos from the INSIDE of the old arcades?

Depending on temps , some coasters may not open first thing in the morning. **edit** Just checked the hourly and looks like it’s not getting over 43 during the day Sunday. B&M’s do not recommend running their coaster below 45 degrees. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’m sorry, unless my mind is slipping in my old age. I don’t recall saying I knew what, if, or what could be occupying that spot in question. I did say there are some who do know. Those who have been on this forum for a while know my word is good. I don’t feel I need to prove myself. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

No, it’s the fact that some things are not allowed to be discussed. I will neither confirm or deny anything that I may or may not have privy to. I value my relationship with the park. If or when there is anything to announce they will. My input on this topic is finished. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yes, and that reason shall not be disclosed.

I find this hard to believe. I’ve made formal requests from management in person. Here are the exact words told to me. “I can’t stop you from taking photos from a public space, but under no reason are photos allowed to be taken on the property.” Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’m not going into specifics. Just stay tuned Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

As stated from earlier. Demolition is not just a wrecking ball, especially when dealing with confined spaces close to public areas. Stay Tuned... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
