I’m looking for KIC’ers that will be at the park tomorrow (4/21). I will be doing some photography for the KI Blog and looking to get some shots of various food and treat options around the park. Of course I can’t buy all these options in one day, as I would not feel so good afterwards. LOL. So, I'm looking for people to allow me to get some photos of classic and new options at the park this year that they are purchasing. I don’t know. I’m making an educated guess. CF is spending a lot to upgrade areas of parks that they can pull more revenue from. Just like a department store improving sales per sqft is key. Expanding, costs money and adds to operational costs when the expansion is made. TW is pretty much dead space with a very low sales per sqft except for the 3 days a year Spirit Song is there. I would guess it would be cheaper to remove it and utilize the land for some that will generate better revenue, aka an up-charge attraction, restaurant, or a new ride tha would increase revue at the gates with more attendance. The answer is No. They rarely do POVs for their own marketing and the process for setting this up requires multiple departments. I do know the park is looking to crack down on Illegal POVs this season. I would advise against trying to record one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Just my educated guess from what I am observing from CF’s actions across the chain. TW will be there until there is a reason to remove it, and I honestly see a reason coming sooner than later. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

With the recent trends by CF, I would look at them possibly purchasing the former Kings Island Inn land and developing it for out of town guests. They may just get it at a good price since the development that was supposed to go there is having troubles getting off the ground. If you look at Carowinds and CP, they are adding lodging for guests to improve their overall stay. I wouldn’t even doubt CF might pull off something like the sports park in Sandusky down in Mason, maybe on a smaller scale. I also wouldn’t doubt a camp ground returning to KI. It was drone footage that was flown legally and NOT over CW’s property. I know this because I’m in contact with the person who filmed it. I have seen the raw footage. It’s possible you may see it at KI. CF parks have been rolling the Pre-K pass out over the last couple of seasons across the parks. There are a lot of factors as to why they are offering it, such as demographics, competition, and much more. I would suggest contacting the park via email and ask if they are going to offer it.
