  1. The yellow and black striped poles shown in the first two pictures, which held up posters in years past, have been removed. This happened on the 9th and 10th of this month, so not a very recent development. Still worth pointing out though. Removal can be seen in the first minute of this time lapse.
  2. Track currently being installed at the bottom of the batwing.
  3. What caught my attention in Ohiocoasterman's awesome album was picture 27. It showed a close-up of the most recent piece of track to be installed, at the end of the zero-g roll. There are 4 brackets between the last two ties on that track element. Looks like a prime location for a trim break to be installed. With most B&Ms I've seen, trim brake locations have two cylindrical holes cut through the spine of the track which are perpendicular to the rails. These holes are where the solenoids for the trim brakes fit. What has me confused is the fact that these holes are not present at the same location as the brackets in the picture. Maybe it's something similar to Millennium Force where the brackets are on the track for trims but the brakes have not actually been installed.
  4. ^Look under Portfolio - Roller Coasters: http://www.rockymtnconstruction.com They helped create the ride, but to an extent that I don't know the details of.
  5. Looks like the first drop received some orange paint today.
  6. There is a crane positioned in front of the bathrooms. It appears that crews are currently using it to install steel for the station.
  7. I could only count 27 loops. What was your count? 6 - Invertigo 7 - Banshee 4 - FoF 6 - Vortex 5 - Firehawk
  8. It would appear that another crane, similar to Clifford, is being assembled in the valley by the smaller crane.
  9. I think Clifford found another penny...
  10. Despite the pouring rain at the construction site, workers are installing a track element for the exit of the loop. Props to them.
  11. Another track element being installed, going into the loop...
  12. They were able to erect the next support after the first drop before sunset. Great work with the photo edits, keep it up. Edit: Good fix.
  13. 15th track element in place and being installed.
  14. Walnut sized hole in a road wheel on the red train. Problem solved by maintenance.
  15. zephyr crew: want to hear a joke? what is brown and sticky? a stick
  16. I enjoy the working restrooms at MK. It not as hard as you may think, I find it easier actually. Couldn't agree more Colonel. I find cleaning the restrooms at KI not bad at all. I actually enjoy it more than roaming around the midways sweeping trash, believe it or not haha
  17. You are not kidding. One of my biggest pet peeves after cleaning restrooms this year is the guys who take a leak in the stalls and get it all over the seats. I mean come on, really???
  18. I hear you on the need for AC in those bathrooms. I am one of the guys who cleans the bathrooms at the park and trust me, we want AC for those bathrooms just as much as you do. Unfortunately, it isn't a matter of fixing the AC. They would have to squeeze new AC units into the bathrooms.
  19. Those pictures are fantastic! I have ridden the CP one but not the KI one. Can't wait to compare them!
  20. no! i walked past that yesterday and i thought it was awesome how they had left it there for that long.
  21. 1. Maverick - Cedar Point (beastfan26) 2. Millennium Force - CP (coasterguy15)
  22. I couldn't agree more. Forbidden Journey is a must ride, no matter the wait. It was just absolutely breathtaking.
  23. Interesting, I didn't know that. That frustrates me a bit more now because Disney definitely would have gotten their money's worth on that investment.
