  1. I had just written a TR, but I accidently hit back (again!), so I'll make this short. Asylum 6: On the website it says, "haunted hospital." What it should say is, "neat looking building with crazy people, unclear directions, and pitch black hallways." It was pretty well themed, with some nice scenes, like a kitchen and courtyard. Makeup/ costumes were decent. Definitely not up to KI's standards. Acting was good. Major props to the spinning tunnel. We went the wrong way like 3 times, and we accidently skipped part of it. Oh well, it was still pretty good. 7/10. Woods of the Wicked: Horrible. Absolutely awful. I guess we should have listened to the people coming out of the exit saying, "You'd be better off in the park and wasting your money instead of your time." There were probably 10 scare actors, and it lasted about 3 minutes. Scenery consisted of various camping equipment, like a brand new colorful tent, that completely fits in with scary things. 2/10, and that's being generous. Other stuff: It was 55 degrees, and 7:30, and Deluge (my favorite waterslide, similar to Wildebeest coming to HW next year) was the only water ride open. My friend and I were fully clothed, yet we still rode it 3 times. We were wet the rest of the night. It was the most fun thing since the school year started. Elvira's House of Superstition was not playing as advertised, but they said it would be there next weekend, while I'll be paying my patronage to HH, Junction Nightmare, and Stricker's Grove. The park was empty, and we marathonned Greezed Lightnin'. Chang is already being disassembled. Sad. Breakdance is an insane ride. T2 did not fail to live up to the name "hang and bang". You know how HH has barely any children? Well here the children in costumes outnumbered the teens and adults combined. Ride Count: Roller Skater: 1. Secrets of the Lost Temple: 1. Greezed Lightnin': 11. Road Runner Express: 1. Thunder Run: 1. Giant Wheel: 1. Deluge: 3. T2: 1. Breakdance: 1. Tin Lizzies: 1. International Carousel: 1. Asylum 6: 1. Woods of the Wicked: 1. Total: 25. I think that's it. Once I find my cardreader I'll upload some Chang pictures. Thanks for Reading!
  2. Kevin is! I can't wait.
  3. Seriously, there are like a bazillion(sarcasm intended) topics about Haunt '09.
  4. Am I incorrect or did I recall CP saying TTD was the worst decision they've ever made money-wise?
  5. Voyage! Although we wouldn't really need it, it's my favorite. I think KI could really use Alpengeist.
  6. ^Woops, guess I need to learn my flag etiquette.
  7. What time? Flags are supposed to be raised and lowered at sunrise and sunset respectively, so maybe they forgot to raise it?
  8. Hmm my favorite this year so far is Tombstone, but I haven't done Trail of Terror yet this year, which was my favorite. Not to mention the only ones I've done are Tombstone, Trail of Terror, Urgent Scare, Worksite (which is gone, thank God), Cemetary Drive, and Club Blood. I'm not voting til this weekend when I'll have a good idea.
  9. Thanks Kevin! Mind if I add this to the article? No problem!
  10. ^Yes but Spirit Song is pretty good, and it happens annually. But no the Naked Brothers Band are horrible.
  11. Tombstone Terror-Tory: This one was pretty good. It's very long, with many crates, which are obvious hiding places for dead cowboys. Although there are also some pretty good scares, like the guy jumping down from the rafters of the bridge. It's pretty good, but not "Trail of Terror" good.
  12. As I was walking by the stage around 11 on Saturday, they were using the pyrotechnics, but not for a show. I assume they had no more shows.
  13. 8/10. Trail of Terror is amazing though. 9.5/10
  14. Who doesn't like the Voyage? Well I know Terpy likes others more, but it's an undeniably great ride. The airtime is awesome, and I loved the spaghetti bowl almost as much as the airtime. IMO, Voyage is true coaster perfection. My #1 Overall coaster, without a doubt.
  15. I liked Tombstone Terror-Tory more than Club Blood and Cemetary Drive, the only other ones I did this year. It's very long, with cowboys jumping out of predictable crates. There will be a few good ones though...and there are also fake snakes. When I walked by, I yelled "HEY LOOK! IT'S A Diamondback!" Hahaha I like this maze though.
  16. It should have been almost a hop, skip and a jump to the front of the park to get those plans to Mr. Brady. Of course, they never tell you the name of the park in the episode, they simply say an amusement park in Cincinnati. I guess that can give them some artistic license. Yes, but the log flume (Kenton Cove Keelboat Canal?) clearly says "Kings Island" on it, haha.
  17. I tend to like the outdoor ones the most, so I recommend Tombstone Terror-Tory and Trail of Terror. Club Blood is okay. If you don't like gore, then don't do Urgent Scare, and probably not Slaughterhouse. Cemetary Drive is decent at best. If I had a million dollars for every time I saw a Haunt 2009 topic, I'd be a very rich man .
  18. Happy Birthday Dave, and hope you're having fun at WDW. I've never been there myself.

  19. Raven at Holiday World. I love that ride, even more than Legend.
  20. Although standups were a fad, I really love them, and I wouldn't mind seeing them make a return with another B&M at KI.
  21. Yesterday I was wearing a brown Holiday World shirt with a gray thermal under it, and black cargo pants (for you or anyone else who thinks they may have seen me). Well first I saw Tom, who is really tall, then I looked over and you were there.
  22. I'm sure glad I went to record it right at about 3:17, right before it actually started. That run at the end did seem a bit unrealistic considering they ran from about where The Beast is, all the way to the front and passed Coney Mall.
  23. Club Blood was a huge letdown for me. There was virtually no reference to vampires, and it was quite short. The guy letting us in and the DJ were pretty funny though...haha. I did like Tombstone Terror-Tory though. Cemetary Drive was worse than Club Blood Oh and you went to GR on Saturday? My friend forgot his pass in my mom's car, so we did to. I guess you guys were a good amount ahead of us, because I think I saw you a few lines over while we were in line for GR.
  24. Who has been to GL before it lost its coasters? No. Who misses GL? Yes. Sounds like a Terpy response.
