  1. Amy Poehler left the show REALLY? I'm sorry, I had to. Ha, I love that show. The Michael Phelps "REALLY!?!" was the best one. Anyway, I've never been to IOA, but hopefully when (or if) I go I hope Spidey is still there.

And honestly, who doesn't know who Snoopy is? He is the symbol of Cedar Point, and he's very popular.
  3. The only ones I've done are Trail of Terror, Urgent Scare, and The Worksite. I'm sorry, but the Worksite was awful. No chainsaws. Urgent Scare was good but all it was was goryness. Trail of Terror was perfect. Pitch black woods, crawling through a tunnel, surprises. It was my favorite.
  4. I went Thursday night after school from 4 to about 6:30. We marathonned DB and got 21 rides in!

I'm 13 and I voted for Snoopy. I used to watch Nick a lot, but looking back on it, none of their shows have meaning whatsoever. Spongebob is funny, but extremely pointless. Avatar has a decent storyline. Fairly Odd Parents and Jimmy Neutron are virtually the same show if you think about it. Peanuts actually have meaning, and I think that would have a better impact on kids.
  6. I agree 100 percent. I second that agreement. I third that agreement. If that is possible.
  7. I'm not under ten but close. When I was a kid, all I wanted to do was ride Top Cat Taxi Jam, or The Beastie. Or Boo-Boo's Baggage Claim.
  8. Show me a 13 year old that watches Dora and I will be seriously surprised. I'm sorry but that show is beyond cheesy. I haven't watched Spongebob in a few years, but that was actually pretty funny. I like Scooby though. If it was on, I'd watch it. I never check though.
  9. I think Diamondback looks better personally, all due to that awesome second hill packed with airtime (which Intimidator does not have).
  10. Floorless coasters aren't great unless you're in the front. I think.
  11. Lucky...today was my first day of school.
  12. Diamondback's drop is 215, and goes 80 mph. This has a drop of 211 and goes 75-80 mph.
  13. Looks like a pretty neat coaster. The only thing I've got against it is that I think hypercoasters should have a straightforward camelback after the first drop.
  14. I call dibs on making up the name "Timmy", like Maggie or Millie. It was made in an above post in this topic on the 21st. If you find someone that used that name before that, tell me.
  15. Can you make it so we can vote for more than one?
  16. That would be amazing. Plus you wouldn't get the rattling at the bottom of the hill. I wonder if they just asked B&M if they would go above 300, or if they already had the designs...
  17. I'm extremely excited to ride this, as I have said before. Judging by the videos I think I'd rather ride Diamondback, but the thing is that most B&M hypers have very similar layouts. The same can hardly be said for the two Intamin Gigas.
  18. Any sound that reminds me of Diamondback is a good sound.
  19. I've been reading these forums since early 2008. But I didn't join until a few months after DB was announced. I didn't even start actually posting on here until a few weeks after Diamondback opened, so I had obviously never seen PKICentral.com
  20. From what I've heard Discovery Kingdom is a great park. Zonga looks interesting. Those loops are very wide! Oh and here's the link to V2 at Discovery Kingdom: Here is the link :)
  21. Wow, that is very interesting, even though the site is pretty slow. Thanks for sharing this!
  22. I found the loop on Shockwave to make me knees feel like they were about to cave. But hey- we all have our own opinions. I do agree on the restraints. I was actually a bit unnerved by them they were so minimalist. As for V2, it's sad they don't have the brake on the back tower. I watched a show on thrill rides on the Travel Channel (best channel ever, IMO) from 2002, and they featured "Superman- Ultimate Escape at Six Flags Worlds of Adventure", aka Possessed at Dorney, and it had the brakes on the back tower. I think the V2 at Discovery Kingdom looks pretty wicked (no pun intended). It was too tall for standards, so they shortened the back (straight) tower, and made the front (twisted) at a 45 degree angle instead of 90 (straight up). So you actually do a barrel roll move while going 45 degrees up (and down).
  23. Thank you for saying what i've been trying to keep myself from saying to this guy Ditto. By the way TTD Maverick, this is NOT a one word post. -Kevin, defending himself.
  24. Kat, how did V2 compare to Wicked Twister? I've heard of some people that like the straight back tower, and some that prefer the twisted back tower found only on WT. And by the way, how do you like the TOGO standups more than the B&M's? I've ridden one TOGO (Shockwave), and two B&M's (Mantis, Chang), and I'd rate Chang and Mantis WAY above Shockwave. I think Shockwave is the one coaster where I didn't think that airtime was a good thing. Plus when you're entering the helix you get flung to the side. I did not like it. Can you tell me why you like the TOGO's more? I honestly truly don't mean to bash your opinion, I'm just asking you to explain you ride experiences on both types.
