The thing is, I don't doubt that it's running circuits. I just doubt that that says anything about the future of the ride. I think they might be measuring stress on the structure or something, but if they were planning on reopening it, they would have done track maintenance since May.

Could the dark ride be a Vekoma Pandora's Box?

I wish they would just fix the thing or tear it down. If they could actually make it an enjoyable ride, then that would be great. But, they've tried, and it's beyond help. It's like the Britney Spears of the rollercoaster world- flashy, but it has a lot of incidents and needs some rehab.

I would bring a HUSS Enterprise back. I think they're really fun, and KI doesn't have one anymore...

Pics or it didn't happen. Or they're taking some POVs and footage of the ride for historical reasons before tearing it down...

If the wood were stained, it would look much better. It's an impressive structure, but I wouldn't say that beautiful is the word that I would use. I just wish that PP wouldn't have tried to do so much with one ride. If it were a smaller woodie with a loop, it might still have a loop...

Personally, I would be happy with a tear down and a few flat rides in its place, rather than have a huge eyesore that isn't operating.

Yes, but techincally, SDatHC is not part of NU. Therefore, even if it were leaving, you could still say that no NU rides were leaving. Which is why I asked.

I'm betting on a quick'n'cheap Snoopy conversion or a simple GhostBlasters conversion.

I know. I was wondering because of the whole "SDatHC is on International Street" thing, and CF's tendency to heartlessly tear the soul out of dark rides in parks they purchase.

Really? I rode in the back and thought it was fine... strange. Mean Streak seems to be a bit of an enigma... what did they do over this past offseason, anyway? There seemed to be something different... same on Blue Streak (which ran like lightning this year!)

I eat at the Taco Bell off of Kings Island Dr. almost every time I go. Almost every single person at that restaurant has a KI handstamp. Same with McDonald's.

Cedar Fair can now run only one side if they please. They couldn't find a single maunfacturer who would run their trains backwards? Surely, if Gerstlauer would allow their trains to run on SoB, they would allow them to run backwards on a tame family coaster...

And that was two completely different operators. Hercules at DP closed and was quickly replaced...

The glow stick idea was great. I never would think of that.

Hasn't SoB been "fixed" multiple times? Did it ever actually help? Throwing money at it really isn't going to help.
