Really? I rode in the back and thought it was fine... strange. Mean Streak seems to be a bit of an enigma... what did they do over this past offseason, anyway? There seemed to be something different... same on Blue Streak (which ran like lightning this year!)

I eat at the Taco Bell off of Kings Island Dr. almost every time I go. Almost every single person at that restaurant has a KI handstamp. Same with McDonald's.

Cedar Fair can now run only one side if they please. They couldn't find a single maunfacturer who would run their trains backwards? Surely, if Gerstlauer would allow their trains to run on SoB, they would allow them to run backwards on a tame family coaster...

And that was two completely different operators. Hercules at DP closed and was quickly replaced...

The glow stick idea was great. I never would think of that.

Hasn't SoB been "fixed" multiple times? Did it ever actually help? Throwing money at it really isn't going to help.

But is it their responsibility to do something about a ride that injures people on a regular basis? People aren't going to think "Oh, look at that wooden coaster. It'll probably hurt me, but I'll ride it anyway.", they think "That looks fun!" or "That looks scary!". Nobody goes on a rollercoaster expecting for it to hurt, except Ninja at SFOG.

At my lunch table today: Friend: "So, I went to the Paramount yesterday, and I rode the Diamondback." Me: "For one, Kings Island was not open yesterday. Second, it's Diamondback."

When I rode it this season, it was walkon for the front seat.

You know, if you used TweetDeck, you should be able to tweet and change the Facebook page's status at the same time...

The main thing that I will miss is the level of theming. The reptar statue, the cutouts, the ride veichles shaped like characters... it's a shame that PS probably won't be as well themed.

I don't see a news story about SoB's collapse, but I also don't see a news story about the death during the construction of Flight of Fear...

#1: Diamondback. The airtime and fast straightaway. Woot. #2: The Beast. So much more could have been done with the speed of the second lift instead of just going back to the station. At least a few hills...
