  1. AKA Manhurtin' Express...
  2. Journey Into YOUR Imagination at Epcot (1999). Not only was it a pale imitation of the original ride, but it also insulted the guests within their first minute of riding! Hooray! At least it didn't feature this, like its successor:
  3. AFAIK, you can use your pass voucher ONCE for parking and entry. You can't reenter the parking lot with your voucher, so it'd be a good idea to process on opening day anyway.
  4. I teared up a little seeing you knock over the DB press kit.
  5. New lights on Power Tower! Yessssss! That one light won't always be stuck anymore!
  6. It should take about a minute, so I don't see any harm in doing it. Just try to go when it's not really busy.
  7. Me too. Visiting now is more depressing than anything. My favorite activity in the park seems to be looking for things from previous rides that are left (like the space station window in SSE or the Horizons lighting rig... or the hollow floor and curved walls in the Imagination pavilion where the original track pit and turntable were). I'm happy to see that Test Track is getting some much needed work, though. Considering that we're probably never getting another audio-animatronic spectacular like Horizons, World of Motion, or Journey Into Imagination, I guess it's good that they're at least updating the "new" rides.
  8. I think they all use the same software, so I'd assume they all have it.
  9. I was always very concerned that my Demon Drop car would go rocketing off into a tree.
  10. I think the last slide on that page is a KI stock photo. Her nametag looks like it says "Kings Island" on the top... it's definitely not "California's Great America". Edit: In fact, it looks like it was taken in the games booth between Racer and Coney Confections. It's also very sad that I could tell that.
  11. The huge shade structure over them is gone too, it looks like. Even the support poles.
  12. I thought they did change those? Some of them were definitely newer displays, especially the one that should show your photo that said "DVI 1: NO INPUT" when I was there. Ah, technology!
  13. I think we also saw Disney's epic failures (please try to tell me that Journey Into YOUR Imagination was better than the original, or that Mission: SPACE is a better attraction than Horizons) and would like them to avoid wrecking anything else... BTW, I do think the monorail wrap looks good, although I'm not sure about them going down a road of using the monorails as mobile billboards (although they've been tasteful so far).
  14. You get into all CF parks for free (but NOT gold perks), you can eat at the employee restaurant (apparently you can eat at CP's too? I've never tried it), 25% merchandise discount (but not on food and certain other merchandise), and 4 free tickets after you've worked 28 shifts (which you MUST give away, you can't sell them). Also, just curious, which Skyline? I worked at Coney Skyline in 2010 and 2011, so PM me if you have any food-related questions.
  15. http://www.discoyeti.com/node/33 (15:23 in the video for a list) Some are subtle (swooping pterodactyl) and some are pretty major (lasers in entry/exit tunnels). They probably aren't as obvious if you never rode with everything working. Also, the show lighting is much brighter than it was when CTX opened. Not to mention the original fountain, which was sadly removed a while ago... Things have gone downhill a lot in the past decade or so. Merchandise has become the same everywhere (I had to look in 3 different stores before I could find any Epcot merchandise at Epcot... everything else was the generic "Disney Parks" stuff), food has become the same everywhere (although I do appreciate their attempts at healthy food quite a bit), rides have closed with no replacement (Wonders of Life, anyone?), theme has gone out the window in favor of synergy (MILF does NOT belong in Tomorrowland), and most of all, the emphasis on show has been changed to a emphasis on capacity. This is really unacceptable for a Disney park. And yes, it was like that for at least a year. Really, I'm just disappointed in how they don't really seem to care as much about the condition of the parks anymore. Maybe we should get Oriental Land Company to take over for TDO...
  16. I sense sarcasm. The place isn't falling apart. But it's not being maintained up to Disney standards. In fact, it's not even up to industry standards in some cases. Splash Mountain has been in this state for days at a time. Sometimes the AA's have been down for a week or so. But Disney won't close it down for proper repairs while Big Thunder is under refurb. I won't even bring up Disco Yeti. Ooops, I just did. ...or the horrible state of Journey Into Imagination, or the infamous angler fish in The Living Seas, or the current state of Wonders of Life, or Luxo Jr. at DHS, or MuppetVision in general...
  17. I think it's 44. I think this is the cup they use: http://whirleydrinkw...UB&cat=cw&sub=s . Diamondback cups were 46oz IIRC. Paramount ones seemed to usually be 32oz. (WHY do I still know this stuff?! )
  18. The WS cups said KI on the front and it was molded into the back plastic.
