They go off by sensors, but the sensors will NOT trip again within a certain amount of time. In other words, you'll trip it the first time you walk by, but if you keep walking back in forth in front of it, it won't go again for a little bit. I can't imagine that's the behavior then intended, but maybe it is?

I think they've said on Facebook that they plan on adding to DA every year.

They're not broken, they just take a little bit of time between when they do their movements. And the ones you control only do one motion at a time, you need to wait until that one stops completely to do another one.

My biggest complaint about the photographers is that they never seem to take the pictures with the Eiffel Tower in the background. Apparently, from what I've been told, they aren't allowed to take their breaks until they've taken a certain number of photos or their required break is coming up. I have a feeling that removing that rule would help with any issues they're having.

Maybe it's because I'm sick of people going off on me for doing what I'm told so I actually have pity for people in the same position?

Well, I certainly wouldn't post a thread saying how proud I was to be rude to employees and expect to be praised by everyone else. BTW, Cedar Point's are far worse. I would far rather have KI's "paparazzi" than CP's.

A polite "No, thank you" works pretty well with the Kaman's people. They only typically "harass" you if you rudely ignore them. Btw, they aren't employed by KI, so if you have comments, it might work better to forward those on the Kaman's: http://www.kamansart.com/

Oh, trust me, I did... Did anyone else notice the really bad photoshop of it on the DA foods page? http://www.visitkingsisland.com/dinosaursalive/explore/food.cfm I have to say, it was certainly worth the $5. Not something I'd do every trip, but it was neat to see.

I really wish they would just give up with the north gate and just expand the south one (and give it a light!). It's always impossible to tell if the north one is open or not until it's too late to turn in.

I'm sure that Cedar Fair and Mondial know what is and isn't safe operation of the ride. People in the preferred lot would be a lot more upset if someone wasn't staffing it... and I think they eventually stop staffing that one, too. And I think security staffs that position, not admissions.

And people wonder why the prices go up... perhaps part of it is that the people making the food have a habit of ignoring the portion sizes that they are required to follow...?

And, by 5PM, most people who are going to spend their day at the park have already come... there has to be a point where they stop staffing it for the day because not that many more people are coming.
