Is Disney the only park that has tried this?
-
Does anyone have pictures of this event? I've read how it was set up, but I want to visualize it.
-
I saw this as a reference to the "trailer park" KIC set up the year Diamondback was constructed.
-
I want to know why they haven't produced a show called Phantom's Theater. A show based off the ride doesn't seem like unreasonable thing to create.

Who is going to try the new Banshee Ice Cream?
TTD-120-420 replied to kingsislandfan1972's topic in Kings Island
If I can put sprinkles on it, yes. -
There are only so many intellectual properties to go around. Maybe someone will start a breakfast cereal mascot area. Tony the Tiger, Lucky the Leprechaun, Cap'n Crunch, etc... $8 bowls of cereal for everyone!

Is there an option C with a Maverick type ride?

Xtreme Skyflyer recieves new paint scheme
TTD-120-420 replied to TheBEASTunchained's topic in Kings Island
Yeah, I figure it will. Even with it inflated for Banshee's traffic, I doubt it gets to CP's price. -
The Carly Rae concert was a nightmare operations wise. It wouldn't be hard at Kings Island because they have a proper venue for it. Timberwolf needs updated, but I think it would be great for KI to have concerts every once in a while with bands that have medium levels of popularity.

Xtreme Skyflyer recieves new paint scheme

Don't do the one at Cedar Point. It's way more expensive than Kings Island's. -
I also received one today. My membership expires the day after Banshee media day, so I lucked out.

Documentary concerning Seaworld ("Blackfish")

Yes there is. -
Therefore, Cedar Point's FastLane is not as good a value as Kings Island's. If I spend extra money for extra treatment, I expect that extra treatment, and would feel scammed if I had to stand and wait as long (if not longer) than a guest who didn't pay for the service. I wouldn't say Kings Island's is a better value. At the end of the day, one gets you on Cedar Point rides and the other gets you on Kings Island's. I think that makes up for it.

Thunderhead is my #2 wooden coaster. Dollywood's food is worth the whole trip. Firechaser Express looks like it might be one of those coasters with no special elements (maybe the backward launch), but will be plain out fun.
-
CP has not started testing yet. Raptor just had it's trains put back on today.
-
Then it is not so cool when you realize who is paying for it.
-
I'm not a believer at all of the rumor, but it is for Dollywood.
-
I have only seen Fast Lane sell out twice at Cedar Point. It will not sell out the day you plan on going. Even on the busiest of Halloweekend Saturdays I have been able to ride pretty much everything I wanted without a Fast Lane pass. You just have to have a good understanding for how the crowds move. I think you'd be fine without getting Fast Lane, but if you are looking for multiple re-rides on things then yeah, Fast Lane is a good thing to have.

There is a park rumored to get a RMC launch coaster within the next two years. Whether some people will consider it wooden is up to them.

I have no idea what this "textured lighting" is all about. I've seen videos of such lighting, but I don't have the slightest idea how they will use it in the ride area. I'm probably most excited for the lighting. The little details are what get me.
-
The lighting package is undoubtedly the best feature of that ride. I prefer Millennium and Giant Wheel's lighting packages, however.

Men in Black and Toy Story Midway Mania is about as immersive as shooters get.

Guess they never took it out of testing mode...
