I don't understand, and it's not just the typing. What's funny about the price? Those things are crazy expensive and why wouldn't you sue if someone did not provide something you had paid for.

I'm all for healthy religious beliefs and a governing body. However, both are prone to exploitation and when the two start to merge it gets very scary. I don't care about the debate over the appropriateness of this park. I don't even want to chime in. If it's a good place that leads to joy and healthy things, awesome. I'm all for it. However, if this parks gets additional financial help from our government because of it's Christian nature, that's a very scary precedent on a very slippery slope. If this parks gets government help equal to that of any other similar business, that is fair, just and a good thing.

^ which is becoming one of my favorite things about going to parks now. Everywhere I go, I see at least one person that I know from forums, events or something enthusiast related. Very cool indeed!

I started writing this yesterday and didn't get a chance to finish till today. I've come to a big decision, based off of reactions I've seen here and conversations with Avatar and others. I'm going to give CF and KI the benefit of the doubt from now on installations and upkeep. I feel like many on these boards are too quick to pass a negative judgment on things before they are experienced. I realize I bashed HPB without ever seeing the show but I still stand by what I said and don't believe I made an uninformed opinion. Remember how much negativity there was about WindSeeker? Ride Hopper would give an even better idea. I like the thread idea but, If you have the techbnology, apps would just work better. I was pretty pleased with CP's last weekend...even though the programmer had the times wrong. It said the park was closed during ERT, maybe someone was guessing based on how many rides were operating

It really all depends on how my leg heals. Spiral fracture, 6 months ago, partial union and only 1/3 healed. Plans are: KD opening Day KI opening day Cancelled CP opening day (a disaster, but I still had a blast!) HoliWood Nights multiple trips to KI, CP and Holiday World Hershey, (hopefully) Kennywood and Idlewild in Sept Six's Great America in Gurney Ill

I would imagine them trying to keep costs down the first year as it's a pilot... and quite a bold move for an amusement park. I bet there will be more permanent structures added with the success of the attraction. I really think this will be a huge hit, hopefully profitable enough to finance an inverted B&M and a twisty GCI or GG woodie (and a re-profiled and rideable SOB (with the loop(dreaming, I know))).

Why do so many people think KI and CF management know what they plan to do with SOB? I've heard it explained to me by some very knowledgeable individuals that the Amusement industry is a fly by the seat of your pants one. SOB is like my non-healing broken leg. We're consulting with multiple orthopedic specialists and some other Docs. with a nitch for problematic fractures. We'll look at what other people have done with similar injuries and consider my past health and ability to heal broken bones. With SOB, we know they've consulted many of the main players in woodies and not gotten the answers they hoped for. It's safe to assume that they are looking at the performance of other coasters in similar situations and hoping for something to surface as a good possibility. I would bet money that they have never had a sure idea of what will happen to SOB and doubt that they are sure now...even if they have made a decision that could change in a week... or another lawsuit...or the praise Meanstreak is getting

I love KI at night. If for nothing else, The Beast in the dark is amazing and so is DB. WindSeeker will be gorgeuos and the oldtime feel of Coney Mall is just... IDK, it's romatic, fun, nestalgicetc... Welcome, KIC is an amazing site and I'm comparing it to many other industry fan site. The boards are a little too negative right now but we have some great people here who are incredibly knowledgable and helpful. I'm glad we could help you get your questions answered.

Maybe we should look at Meanstreak as an indication of things to come (insert sincere wink emoticaon). David who heard full trains of excitedly cheering riders coming into Meanstreaks station. Seriously, every train. I had to re-ride. Yes, I said "I had to re-ride." I'll also say I'm actually really looking forward to riding it again. Heard Blue Streaks trains were rebuilt at the manufacturer, to the point that some enthusiasts thought they were new. Now for those in the know to discuss how long the improvements will last.

Yeah I figured and no offense intended obviously. It's not worth it to me either. ONce this car is paid of all our vehicles are and we won;t be buying for a long time... I hope! I used to have the same idea as you but, this Prius is working out great. 1 more year of payments left and I've had no problems with the car. BTW, brakes last forever on a hybrid!

It is if you have to replace your car anyway When I bought my Prius I traveling for work and getting mileage reimbursement. I only made 2 or 3 payments for abt 14 months. Closest thing to stealing ever. I worked right under the CEO and he even thought it was great.

One word describes my thoughts about Sky Jump...FUN. I can't imagine dropping a bill on it though. Too rich for my tastes. Gator, awesome choice for #100. I went with Wildcat for #50... It was my first GCI so I started with their first. The funny thing is when I got back from the trip I realized that I had forgotten a ride on my list (darn carnival coaster) and Hershey's boomerang was actually my 50th. Not impressive. Luckily I had a CP coaster down twice...Phew

I can only remember a time or two that I didn't empty my pockets. I've been beeped once and my friend has been beeped once. I went 5 or 6 times each of the last 2 years. Opening day at KD we had some young security guy that took his job WAY too serious . My friend almost laughed in his face. It was horrible. We barely kept it together and exploded in laughter once we got away. Of course the paparazzi... I mean photo folks had fun trying to get a pic!
