I haven't been there yet So I don't know I'm really happy about what I read and the photos I've seen though

Actually, this might make for a nice mother's day for my wife, daughter and I but... I don't want to ditch out on my or my wife's mom. Hmm. One more think to make buying admission for my wife even more confusing this year. It's really becoming a pain actually. Kinda makes me want to just go to Holiday World instead. We already have season passes and tend to have more fun there. Actually, instead of a pass I'm leaning toward pay once visit twice and just not go to KI much this year. Then again, KI is really shaping up with all the renovations and additions. IDK. I don't have to pack a cooler and eat in the parking lot at HW either. Hmmm, puzzled Gibson saying goodbye to this thread

Terpy, Glad you posted that. I've been confused/misinformed for a long time and was holding out on some hope that I would get to ride my first looping coaster again. Top Gun, that is one of if not the best photo I have ever seen of KI! I would love to have a glossy 8X10 in a frame.

I think we need to get Standbyme a trophy or plaque or something. Or a death match of wits between him and Thril Biscuit.

This is exactly what I was hoping for when I first saw those undercarriage lights going on. I didn't think they'd go as far as lights on the bottom of the seats. Good job CF! Thanks for listening and realizing how much your guests like a flashy looking park. Gotta say too, I just talked to my wife (she's not a pass holder) about tickets and the price wasn't bad. My daughter's Montessori school has coupons for $29 admission but I mentioned the 2 days for $52 and she got excited. Maybe their pricing isn't too bad. Of course this says nothing about someone wanting to visit for only 1 day. EDIT: to add... After I posted my twisted brain played games with my words and I started picturing KI as a flashing park It looked like a pretty exciting day to be at the park

Thanks for the info Salsa! Plus, you reminded me I forgot to buy my families HW season passes. Man that feels good to type. I'm getting Holiday World season passes and will be unemployed (though still getting paid) all summer! My day just got a LOT better! Now if I could just get this partial union to heal in my leg

^ Post of the day. Seriously, Mr. Six made me think of a Pedophile (I work with them, not that he reminds me of a specific one though) and just made me think, "ew, I wouldn't want my kid around him." As far as CF advertising, Kinzel thought Blackberries were play things and I've read here that employees were told not to use them. That's his grasp on American culture, as out of touch with reality as some of these adds. I've also heard that said misinterpreted reality is forced on the company through micromanaging and well, what sounds like bullying.

I said this earlier today, in another thread but it sure applies. This is an example of how food prices adversely affect net revenue. Which is such a poor quality item that the eyes were sown on crooked so he looks mean. Nigella likes the thing but keeps getting freaked out when she catches a look at it's face. She literally hides him when she's not playing with him. I think she actually had a bad dream about him (3 yr old retelling dreams, very confusing) The day I won it was one of those... "OK let's give in park spending a try' days. Man, CF burnt me again. I like to spend money at other parks but feel ripped off every time I do at any CF park (except the sparts bar under Raptor...oh wait, nearly my whole salad was over ripe last time I ate there and I vowed not to do it again). Got a nearly 4 dollar coffee to warm up and it wasn't good coffee and they only had powdered creamer. Once again, I vow to NOT SPEND A DIME INSIDE A CF PARK this year. I spend a good $40-$50 a day at other parks. Sorry to gripe in an upbeat forum but...

I'm not a fan of Gaga (but do admit I get her music stuck in my head from time to time) and don't personally like her art but... it's pretty high caliber in it's own right. I guess I could say the same for Manson but he just makes me feel ill so it's a farther stretch (better music though). That said, what an amazing theme. I don't like blood and guts anymore but look at Nemesis If done well (maybe starting small with focus on theming to the point of integrated ride experiences) it could be pretty cool. I agree though, Gaga needs a Giga... not as much as Hershey though (please,please,please)

It's not as far fetched as you think. How do you think they get power to the motors? Someone has to feed the wire. I (and IBEWSPARKY, for that matter) can run wire through existing stud slots in a house but can't exactly climb through them. I think you would be hard pressed to find someone small enough to climb through any supports on Deleruim.

Terpy makes another post that sounds llke poetry to me. Beast was my first coaster... that intrigue may be exactly why I adore coasters and why they have always been a very common theme in my dreams. As for the rest of the post and Windshawne,

Don't take this wrong but... no thanks! The height, spin, angle, views, etc... are plenty for me! A ride like DB has many more mechanisms to test than WindSeeker, not that I know what those are but you can count moving parts and sensors and get an idea. I'm not worried yet. I do think about things like prototypes, water rides, Cedar Fair, etc... As a fan of Maverick and I305 though, I don;t mind too much when it takes them a couple tries to get it right. They aren't just pushing the envelope, they're destroying it!

It looks so smooth and fun going through that crazy figure 8. Just another reason to make that Disney World trip happen this year:D
