  1. ^What if you go to the park alone? Also, you can rent a locker that can charge your phone near the front gate. Ask the person in charge of those lockers for details (the same place as wheelchair rentals)
  2. I remember the buses.
  3. Kristy Williams Events and Promotions Representative Cedar Point Amusement Park 419-609-2067 Edit: Or 1.800.448.2428 might do it for you
  4. The Beast at night all the way. Banshee is definitely better at night than during the day, and the lighting and all is cool, but it's nothing...too spectacular. The Beast at night, however, continues to be amazing. The out of control feeling in the dark is great.
  5. Exactly. People will pay those prices if they aren't there all the time/make a couple trips a year. For people who visit regularly, the higher prices drive regulars to buying the dining plans, which I'm sure the park would love to sell a ton of.
  6. 90 minutes? More like an hour or less for a full queue in the past.
  7. I'd be willing to bet we won't ever have a reason as to why seat belts were added. There's no reason for the park to explain.
  8. I did not notice the seatbelt while riding. I don't know if it was just the crew or due to seat belts, but Diamondback was dispatching ridiculously slow tonight...a train was in the splashdown or on the brake run before the ned left the station. Lead to an unnecessarily long wait.
  9. ^That 2:40 includes going up the lift hill.
  10. I always just keep the confirmation email which has the order information. Other than that, no ideas.
  11. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.289579601207579.1073741829.154776558021218&type=1 Should link you to the album with a couple images of the sculpture.
  12. Then don't look at it. Is it something really pretty? No. Is it ugly? No. Is it generating revenue? I'd assume yes. The thing that bothers me most is taking a picture of the fountains and Tower will include this. Still, not a big deal.
  13. Ahhh totally missed that! Oops *embarrassed*
  14. Am I the only one who can't seem to find that list? I clicked on "More Info" and then "Participating Restaurants" and I was taken back to the Dining page
  15. "It's really is a great ride." Which is why I don't want it to get more attention now. That means a longer wait for me
  16. I think it looks fine and works in the new paint scheme.
  17. Well I'm sure that 90 minute waiting period is a slight deterrent. If you're with a family of 3 or 4 and only one person can eat every 90 minutes, that's not too effective at feeding people. But I definitely see a couple people sharing this. Ultimately, sharing will cause prices to rise.
  18. Or they were simply cooking a smaller quantity of food for the fundraiser
  19. No. Not at all.
  20. Exactly my thought! Doesn't hurt me, only benefits me if I want it. Unless they're testing higher prices...then those might sometimes hurt.
  21. I thought everything was done in-house by KI? And it's not listed on GCI's website under their list of projects.
  22. ^Much better picture! That's really disappointing that it does in fact appear as though the combo does not include the Texas Toast or the dipping sauce. That brings the meal up to $16.97, which is incredibly expensive for what you get.
  23. Deductive reasoning:Hypercoaster is Diamondback Diamondback is at Kings Island Kings Island has a fan-base That fan-base has created KICentral [...] And stop right there. KICentral is all about discussing Kings Island. In fact so much discussion of Kings Island occurs at KICentral that they have multiple sections of the forums and thousands of threads for you to discuss in, depending on the specific topic of what you want to discuss. They have it set up like this because trying to discuss everything in one thread would make discussions difficult, if not impossible, to follow. Therefore, I'll say it again: This thread is COMPLETELY redundant to the entire KICentral forums and therefore pointless. If I was an admin, I would have locked this thread on sight when I first saw it. If you think this thread is redundant, then don't open it, read it, or post in it. Then either suck up the bad flavors and eat it anyways, or just don't eat a Snickers (similar to how you should react to this topic). I know this probably came off a lot more rude than I intended it to...
  24. There's also a thread to discuss everything Kings Island
  25. ^^I'm calling BS on that. Yes, I'm sure that a sack of potatoes would sit in the seats...except there are one or two points I see that not holding true. Besides that, that's an inanimate object. Humans, and the variables they bring, change things. There's a very slim chance a train of 32 riders returns to the station with 32 riders if the restraints fail unexpectedly during the ride. ^It really depends on the restraint system (something I obviously know nothing about). What are the mechanisms keeping the restraints locked? How many fail safe systems are a part of the restraints? How do these work? What would it take for them to fail?
