But restraints CAN and DO fail. The hope is when one system fails, the next one holds. Part of the reason why I don't think Diamondback needs seatbelts.

Name the source or it wasn't said

I couldn't read it either.

Has anyone here had the Chicken Shack since the park opened for regular operation? I noticed they list the price of the bread at $1.99 and the sauce at $.99. So does this not all come with the meal as it did on Media Day?
-
If you buy a pass, you'll have a lot more motivation to visit the park

Two hour wait for the season long plan. 90 minute wait for the one day meal plan
-
I wanted to go up today but....too much school work and preparing for finals D:

I personally didn't find the chicken to be too flavorful (seemed a bit bland) and not too greasy! I was happy about that!

How long DID you wait for Banshee on Opening Day?
Diamondback FOF replied to BoddaH1994's topic in KI Polls
Once I was let into the park, I was off the ride in less than 15 minutes. Waited less than 10. However, I waited two and a half hours to get into the park. -

Love stories like those! -
Would there be a legal issue with showing the Reds? Licensing or something? Edit: originally read this as showing the game, not just updating the score. Might be a hassle for them to show an update with the score though?

BUT in past years (at least in 2009/2010) the admission gates did open before ERT started/rides opened, correct? Maybe not when parking tolls opened, but still earlier? But yeah, making people wait outside of a gate makes no sense. Even if not done regularly, on a day like today, open the gates early, let people buy stuff, and start queueing people at the ride. SOMETHING to help with the crowds.

That could've made for an awkward, disappointing drive...have fun at Dollywood!

Isn't Cedar Point closed for a couple more weeks...??

From the new report tonight, Mr. Don Helbig was quoted as saying, "Like with any other ride, youre occasionally going to have a protein spill....youre going to want to be careful with what you eat before you ride" hahaha They did report that the ride was closed a few times to wash it down.

LongLiveTheSmurfRide and Gemini XL-200: You DID go by a the pretzel place, Tower Drinks, Festhaus, and the Ice Scream place and could have gotten something

I would wait until you get to the park and see how things are. Let the park open for like an hour or so, check lines, and go from there. I personally wouldn't expect the park to be overly crowded but it's really hard to know. Plus, you have 5 fewer hours in the park than normal days over the summer, so you'll be forking out a lot of money for less use.

No nets anywhere.

Right before the loop that goes around the lift hill.

^Hopefully a little less later on this year. I was guess an hour and a half.

I didn't even notice it ever going off. It's just background noise.

Waiting to get in at 10am. Queue line was beginning to fill. Overview of the ride and you can see the mass of people that is the line. People trying to come in at 1pm. People trying to get through the parking tolls. This was the crowd as I was leaving at 1:15

Delirium today.
