Disney Fastpass+ at Walt Disney World
Diamondback FOF replied to bkroz's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
So they are still using the old Fastpass system, and have just added Fastpass+? -
Two and a half hours, maybe possibly three.

Gotcha. Go Cats!

Are you a Cincinnati State, and not UC, student...?
-
I believe there is an elevator that will be installed on the exit side of the station

Banshee is a registered trademark of Cedar Fair. As such, it should always be capitalized. Mason and Ohio are proper nouns. As such, they too should be capitalized.

^It's what they want. They can't control EVERY site that's out there. But this site, the admins, and Don/the park all have a good relationship (one that many sites don't have with a park). How many PR people actually post on a site for enthusiasts? Not many. Just respect what he's asking; it's nothing complicated. Maybe they'll try to entire rules on other sites, or maybe not. But those sites don't have what we do here. Also, people are allowed to embed the photos as long as they provide credit and a link, so you can still have your mini PTR. Seems like everything that affects you is okay/works for you

Usually there are guidelines to be eligible for an athletic competition...I'm not sure if it's set by the state or by each school though. I personally had to be in school for four of my seven classes in order to be eligible to compete

I'm not referring to the park requesting that only links be provided to their media. I mean everything...from Coke to Banshee to just everything having to be referred to properly. I understand why it's important. It just seems to me of much more importance as of late

I feel like there has been much more importance on getting names, capitalizations, copyrights, etc correct over the past few weeks or months. And I'm really curious as to why... I've always been curious and nosy about things that don't pertain to me

Kings Island will be opening on Friday, April 18th this year! (Via twitter)

They will be slid onto the track somewhere around the transfer track. I believe Diamondback's trains slide out of the back of the storage shed

I'm sure it's been asked, and probably answered, but do we know how tall all of the inversions are? This second loop (and everything else) looks HUGE

Scream for A Kid Again on Banshee
Diamondback FOF replied to a topic in Kings Island Central Newsroom
I'm going to say you'll have to raise over $100 to be one of the top number that will be allowed to participate. Nonetheless, just keep fundraising for a great cause! -
Call me crazy, but I don't like risking losing my phone and wallet on a ride...I don't trust them to not fall out
-
I don't wear cargo shorts and i still don't have a problem with my wallet, phone, keys, and camera. And you carry those throughout the day how?
-
During the summer, I go to the park with keys, phone, wallet, sunglasses, and sunglasses case. Sometimes, I didn't even bring a wallet and simply put my pass and a $20 in my phone case, and tie my car key to my shoes. But I don't own cargo shorts as I find them a bit uncomfortable, especially on hot days, so I carry a sling backpack. It takes less than 8 seconds to put that bag in the bin and be seated with my restraint down. Yes, this policy for Banshee (and Firehawk) will be/are quite the inconvenience/annoyance. I hold my bag on every coaster ride except Diamondback (has bins) and Firehawk (no longer ride it)Edit: while I still wouldn't like it, I could justify a 50 locker rental...however, I don't see them being this cheap. Even if they are, I see them filling up rather quickly on busy days.

^^^From what I can tell, it appears they're putting that black "paint" stuff (re-sealing?) part of lot, possibly to make it look prettier since there will likely be an increase in attendance
-
I don't think there's any need for any mechanical parts to be under the ride. Brakes, drive wheels, electrical, etc will be at track level I'd think...
-
Probably what is the small coaster (pumpkin something?) in kiddie land at KI

The only thing filed with Mason were the blueprints for foundations and electrical
