  1. Obviously there is a happy medium, but I guess we just have differing opinions
  2. I see that situation as the person with sensitive lungs problem. I am by no means standing up for e-cigarets, but that is technically not the smokers problem. If you have sensitive lungs you should be responsible enough to not go around stuff like that or to avoid e-cigs. That would be like me seeing someone with a big candy bar, and me getting mad at them because I'm a diabetic and not being able to eat one. Not trying to be rude to you or to tell you you're wrong at all.
  3. Well, I have often heard you are where you work! Maybe they were doing this on purpose...
  4. The Bat has had a much longer line this year. It's good for the park and the ride, but I liked it being a walk on in years past.
  5. I'm very excited about this ride! I hope it is a Leviathan type ride, and if so, I will have to make my way down there on opening day!
  6. I changed my vote to Banshee with Alpengeist coming in a close second!
  7. I don't even know what that is!! I just Googled it to catch up with all you guys...
  8. No ones laugh is as loud and recognizable as mine. I don't believe any of you have had the privilege (joking of course) to meet me in person yet, but that is the first thing everyone notices.
  9. This happened to me this week and it really irritated me. It really bothers me how "coaster enthusiasts' can come off so rude and immature. I was having a conversation with an older man in Banshee's line and he mentioned "Drop Zone", the coaster enthusiasts rudely interrupted our conversation and corrected him on the rides new name. He continued to be annoying and rude throughout ERT. It took all of my strength to not yell at him to shut up. I understand not all of us are like this, but it really does give us a bad name and makes us look like a bunch of rude losers, because, honestly, that is what this man was.
  10. The showers look like they will pass in about 25 minutes. The rest of the night looks clear.
  11. If that is your only goal then you shouldn't need the Fright Lane pass. It is always an option though!
  12. Corkscrew is the one thing at Cedar Point I have not ridden. Great TR by the way and glad you had a good time.
  13. I went to HH in 2008 on a Friday. I believe we rode about 5 rides and maybe 2 mazes. Honestly, if you want to go and have a good time I would buy a FastLane for either the rides or the mazes (if they have that again). That will guarantee that you have a good time and ride everything you want
  14. Don put on Twitter that it is set to reach 10 million sometime this month.
  15. It seems as though that would defeat the purpose of getting people to go to the park!
  16. ^Probably because they don't get a large profit off of it!
  17. Took me a second to catch what you did there!
  18. Probably some stuff from Diamondback's gift shop and a poster that says 10 millionth rider.
  19. Don do you have a ride count for Banshee?
  20. Yesterday was not empty. It wasn't crowded, but it sure wasn't empty. In the afternoon Diamondback had a full queue and The Bats line was as long as opening day.
  21. Congrats! Can't believe its already given one million rides!
  22. I want to make sure I'm not making myself sound pampered because I'm a diabetic. Not only should that not happen to me, but it shouldn't happen to anyone. I could have easily told the ride op and pushed it down myself. They were just very insistent. I do think this is a very important conversation to be had, and I hope a park official sees this and has a discussion with park employees.
  23. I think the right approach is a happy medium, much like everything else in life. This 30 second garbage should be gone, but the ride ops should work hard to have a good hourly capacity but with the comfort of guests in mind.
  24. Banshee was doing somewhat of a Power Hour today. All afternoon all I heard was " This train will be leaving in 30 seconds. Do not walk across the seats. If you do we will lock your restraint and you will not be able to ride." I'm all for efficiency but when I have my sensor (for reading my blood sugar) in my leg I would like to push down my own restraint to make sure it isn't right on top of it.
  25. Banshee is now about a 15 minute wait.
