  1. A new area? Possible. All i'm hoping for is an expnsion for X-Base, and maybe a better Boomerang Bay.
  2. Inverdigo or Face/Off...Drop Tower or Drop Zone...heck, even Little Bill's Giggle Coaster or Taxi Jam...which are better names? You decide!
  3. Well, last time I went to the park when it opened, The Beast wasn't running. The attendent said it was broken down. So, I don't know if it's just coincidence or not.
  4. I also still enjoy the Crypt. I don't like it as well, but it is still fun and enjoyable. It became more family friendly than it used to be. I don't think Adam and Jamie would want a themed to theme. That's just what I think. Also, I'm sure a lot of people don't even know what Mythbusters is, although I do enjoy the show. The rights to use it for a theme wouldn't be too cheap. Nice idea though. Yeah, It most likely will never happen. Also, Kings Island is past the era of movie/T.V. show rides. Oh well... Final verdict on Mythbusters: The Ride: Busted
  5. I just have one question.....We're you involve with the making of The Crypt? Sadly, no. I had nothing to do with the making of The Crypt. If I was, let me tell you, I would have come up with something amazing that Cedar Fair did not have to get the rights to. Though Mythbusters: The Ride may be an awesome idea, it may never happen.
  6. How about this: Mythbusters: The Ride It could work. Here's the story: The Mythbusters are looking for volunteers to help with testing the myth that if you stay upside down too long, you become smarter. The que is basically a walk through the Mythbusters shop, with things like "The Rolling Stone Roller" and "The Dental Floss Prision Escape" machine replicas running. Once riders get into the ride, a movie with Adam and Jamie explaning that the riders will be held upside-down and asked certian questions three times is shown. The movie continues as the ride goes into it's upwards position and suspends riders upside down for about one second. Then, the ride suddenly jerks down and flips a couple times as Adam says "Oh, crap. The machine's malfunctioning!" The movie screen then goes haywire, as the ride goes through six inversions before finally stopping halfway to the top. An audio clip of Jamie saying "I think I fixed it!" is played. The ride is then lowered into it's loading position, and the guests unload. Another audio clip in which Adam says that the test is too dangerous and that the myth is "Unconfirmable" is played. I think that ride would go better in a place like Disney World, and I dobut that Cedar Fair is ever going to get the rights to build a ride like that, but it's a cool thought
  7. My favorite roller coaster ride...? Well, it had to be on The Racer. I was riding Red, my friend was riding Blue. Going up the first hill: Me: I'm so going to beat you. Him: No way!!! Me: Yeah I am! Him: No way!!! And so on, until we got to the top... Me: And they're off!!! Him: AHHHHHHH!!!! And later... Me: HA! I'm in the lead!! Him: AHHHHHHH!!!! And then, I got so far ahead, we could no longer carry on the conversation. But when the train pulled into the tunnel... Me: WE WON!!! WOO-HOO!!! To this day, he still refuses to ride The Racer with me.
  8. I rode one roller coaster in Canada's Wonderland, but that's about it out of the U.S.
  9. I voted Racer. Racer is a classic coaster that never has a wait and never gets old. It's especially fun when a friend of yours is riding the opposite side at the same time, same seat. That's one of the very few races I can actually win. P.S: I love The Beast too, but there's always a wait, it's a little to bumpy, and it scares the crap out of me when it goes so slowly up the hill and stops, which it does sometimes.
  10. The funniest rumor I've ever heard is the seats in Action Theatre are modified mechanical bulls.
  11. Wow. That soundtrack is a lot better than last year's Boomerang Bay soundtrack. It was fine at first, but it was like a one-hour loop, so I heard the same annoying songs about six times a day!!! Oh, and don't ask me why I italic my exclamation points. Long story.
  12. I was walking by the Age or Weight (or Birth Month) game in Action Zone, when the game operator noticed my Disney World shirt. She said "That is an awesome shirt. Give me a hi-five!" So, I did. As I was walking away, she said very loudly into the microphone "Disney is the bomb.com!"

    Crypt?!?

One of the last times I was at Kings Island, I bought something from the DB gift shop. It said on my online bank account statement that I had made a purchase from Paramount's Kings Island. I put in "Kings Island" into my GPS like five times, but it never came up. So, I looked it up by address and it came up as Paramount's Kings Island.
  14. Oh, don't get me started. I was at the ice cream shop outside of Jukebox Diner, and I ordered a milkshake. So, the woman puts the ice cream into the metal container to be mixed, but a small amount was dripping off the side of the metal container. So she takes what's dripping off the side with her finger and puts it in the container. No big deal, right? Wrong. Next thing she does is WIPE HER NOSE WITH THAT EXACT SAME FINGER!!!! What are the odds she did that before I got my milkshake? I'll say pretty high. But, I didn't want to waste a (very overpriced) milkshake, so I drank it.
  15. While walking through International Street, "Penny Lane" by The Beatles comes to mind.
  16. I've heard that The Racer was turned backwards in 1981, so it would probably be because The Bat was closed often. But I don't know. I'm not old enough. Oh, okay. I knew it was turned backwards because of problems with The Bat, and I just assumed it was because The Bat was demolished.
  17. Another thing I noticed the other day was that there is a ton of graffiti in the cars of The Monster.
  18. At least, most of the time.
  19. That picture says it all. Son of Beast isn't reopening any time soon.
  20. While riding Red Racer, I noticed that the seat I was sitting in had a brand new lapbar.
  21. I think lap-bars would add to the "thrill" of The Vortex. Not that Kings Island needs more thrills, having just added Diamondback. But, if Son of Beast is demolished, that would be a good counter. After all, the whole reason half of The Racer was turned backwards was because The Bat was demolished.
  22. If anything, Shake, Rattle, and Roll should be renamed Twist & Shout.
  23. How about this: "Son of Beast is being torn down and being replaced by a 450 ft. Ferris Wheel!" Really. It's not like Kings Island needs another observation method. It has The Eiffel Tower, Drop Tower, and tons of really high roller coasters.
  24. "Enjoy your ride on The Beast, the jet coaster, which launches you out of the station at a mind-blowing 2 MPH!" -Beast Operator
