  1. Make sure to ride The Beast after dark, because it is incomparable to anything else. When I go to a new park, I always try to do things that are unique. If you can't do it anywhere else or you never have done it before, it is worth a try no matter what. Don't overlook things because you never know what you might find!
  2. I didn't know there was Flight Deck apparel...
  3. Same here. If I want to pay more for a more intense haunt I will go elsewhere.
  4. I really need to actually meet some people on this site. Y'all look like a fun bunch!
  5. CoasterBuzz members were invited for Gatekeeper's Media Day, so I would imagine they would be invited to Banshee's as well if Cedar Fair decides to invite coaster clubs.
  6. Reports coming in are that Flying Turns has opened to the public today. http://newsitem.com/flying-turns-opens-at-knoebels-1.1563700 https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151936143538566&set=a.382599058565.162665.194340658565&type=1&theater https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=606371709425468&set=a.404710546258253.95008.115430945186216&type=1&theater https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151936347818566&set=a.382599058565.162665.194340658565&type=1&theater https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=606385812757391&set=a.404710546258253.95008.115430945186216&type=1&theater https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=606378166091489&set=a.404710546258253.95008.115430945186216&type=1&theater
  7. I agree that it should all be the same color. The yellow stops after the first hill, so maybe it was just to make the hill stand out?
  8. The yellow supports near the station and Rivertown are to make the ride stand out more, while the tan supports are to make the ride blend in with the trees and "forest" further out from the station.
  9. I trust him. He seems to have a good knowledge of what he is doing, and it will be interesting to see what Cedar Fair becomes under his leadership.I am yet to question a decision he has made.
  10. The Flight of Fear one is very good!
  11. Thanks for sharing these! Keep 'em coming!
  12. I believe hearing that the color change was to have different effects on the ride. The yellow supports near the station and Rivertown are to make the ride stand out more, while the tan supports are to make the ride blend in with the trees and "forest" further out from the station.
  13. Why did you re-hash an old topic just to tell him that he was wrong?
  14. Ahh I did not know that! I'm glad to have made the connection now.
  15. I think the camera will be at the bottom of the batwing element.
  16. The Diamondback splashdown pond could REALLY use some touching up. Just compare that rendering to the brown stuff we have now.
  17. I don't know if we should just let Son of Beast die. Sure, it had a checkered history and what-not, but it is still arguably the biggest part of Kings Island's history. Like it or not, that ride had a profound impact on our park, and I think it is fair to discuss.
  18. I had not rode it before the change, so I am not sure what it was like before? It was like a seatbelt that locked down and progressively got tighter, using your comparison.
  19. I hadn't heard that comparison yet! That's a good one.
  20. I would appreciate if they removed it, but ultimately it is their decision. Your call guys!
  21. https://twitter.com/KingsIslandPR/status/384140765833596930/photo/1 Via Kings Island's Twitter (and what I saw Friday). And this is the spoiler discussed in the posts above, so you can click the link if you desire to.
