So what is that in the former circle's spot? And is Fatale's gone now?

Tons of activity this past week. Watching the film from Tuesday 11th on that time lapse looked like a frenzy!

Six Flags: New for 2014

Topper Track as steel on it as well. Where is the line drawn? -
(2:45 AM) The site is operating slower than usual for me right now. I currently have 3 tabs open on Google Chrome, KIC, Cookie Clicker, and OSU's student website, as well as iTunes and Microsoft Word. Hopefully this helps? UPDATE: As of now (4:09 AM) the site is back to the normal speed I usually experience. I have the same tabs and programs open.

The picture was from the movie "300". There is a new one coming out, you should consider seeing it. So is that what the circle will be?

Last night I had a dream that I was marathoning Disaster Transport. I have the off-season fever so badly that I am dreaming about rides that don't even exist anymore.

Kentucky Kingdom

Especially with that projected capacity. -
If it helps at all, I have also noticed a significant slowdown in this site's response time in the early morning hours.

I remember when I used to sleep... those were the glory days!

I don't miss that website at all.

Kentucky Kingdom
coasterfanatic83 replied to sccard01's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
Getting people to the park for free is free marketing. People talking is better than people not talking, especially for an emerging organization. Getting volunteers into the park will have them telling their friends about what they did over at Kentucky Kingdom the other day, and more people will hear. I see it as an opportunity for marketing rather than a cost issue or lowly cry for help. -
Kentucky Kingdom
coasterfanatic83 replied to sccard01's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
Perhaps Kentucky Kingdom is trying to avoid that confusion? They are making a point to say that this new drop ride will be new, and not a fix-up of the ride that had a tragic accident stuck to its legacy. I would imagine that they put the facts about this new ride out there in order to distance themselves from the past. That is how I saw this when I read it. -
A Man of Action - Solving the surrounding problems with a full energy. You are quite casual and inclusive. You like to solve practical problems and with your solutions having an immediate effect. You feel bored about theory and concept. You hope you could solve a problem with full vigor. For you the current moment with a natural flow is more important. You enjoy every minute when you are with other people. You also enjoy the pleasure and comfort built by a material world. You like to study through practice. ESTP Celebrity: George W. Bush

You haven't. Via their website: "Our founder, Truett Cathy, made the decision to close on Sundays in 1946 when he opened his first restaurant in Hapeville, Georgia. He has often shared that his decision was as much practical as spiritual. He believes that all franchised Chick-fil-A® Operators and Restaurant employees should have an opportunity to rest, spend time with family and friends, and worship if they choose to do so. That's why all Chick-fil-A Restaurants are closed on Sundays. It's part of our recipe for success." http://www.chick-fil-a.com/FAQ#?category=2 (Edit: Dang it, Terp beat me by a hair!)

Is that they one they had issues with during installation? If I remember correctly they had to take down and re-install the supports a few supports for some reason...

For me, summertime seems to fit with the Coney Mall section of the park, while late summer and fall fit the Rivertown section.

Cedar Point didn't announce their new Sling Shot until this past week. I wouldn't count it out just yet...

I was there in 2009 and we were sheltered in a freezer at the I-Street LaRosa's. The storms rolled in just before closing. Perhaps it was the same day? I believe it was early in the operating season. I know Son of Beast was still open, because that was my last trip to the park before it was shut down for good. Unfortunately, we were the next train to board when the rain began and they closed it down. I never got to ride it, and I was so close.

Cute Kings Island Couples' Stories
coasterfanatic83 replied to WailsLikeABanshee's topic in Kings Island
Idk if this counts as a cute Kings Island couple story thing, but my girlfriend of almost 4 years agreed to officially start dating me while I was texting her while waiting in line for The Beast. And we have had our fair share of trips to the park since then- 52 replies

If I don't stop at Speedway, I'll usually just wait until I get home. I usually spend enough money at the park that I want to save a few nickels by the time the day is done. But hey, people gotta eat, right?
