  1. I really just want to take a moment to highlight the fact that Terp used the phrase "totally awesome".
  2. I personally love the idea of having it store your passes. I'm surprised parks haven't come out with electronic passes themselves.
  3. Honestly the most intriguing part of that chart are the checks in the 'Accommodations' row. (Just to be clear I'm not suggesting KI is getting a hotel, just that I'm interested to see what happens chain wide in that area.)
  4. If that's unfinished I can't wait to see the final product!
  5. Once again MA seems to be the red headed step child of CF. As of last July they had no issue with rerides.
  6. New ride speculation threads, for many reasons, are so entertaining.
  7. Tig'rr is such a fun ride. I'm glad it's getting some TLC. Hopefully all this extra work will mean I can finally get my Lost Coaster credit sometime this summer. Six visits since 2009 and I still haven't ridden that thing.
  8. Jaws was definitely one of those rides I'm glad I got to experience before it was gone. Extremely corny, but in the best possible way.
  9. It looked to be moving pretty quickly. That airtime hill at the end might actually live up to its name.
  10. According to Screamscape the ropes course and Splash Battle are now up for sale. http://screamscape.com/html/indiana_beach.htm
  11. In my opinion it was the best of the three options. Looking forward to seeing a complete layout!
  12. There is some interesting stuff in there for sure. Thanks for the link!
  13. ^Very interested to see how that goes for them. I'd think that SFMM gets significantly more return visitors per season than does SDC.
  14. I totally agree that if something like this came along at KI at that price point it would be a nightmare as far as lines go. However, I for one would be willing to pay significantly more ($399? $499?) for a pass that included season long Fast Lane.
  15. Silver Dollar City is offering a season pass version of their Trailblazer Pass (their version of Fast Lane). The cost is $150.00 and is good every operating day of the season according to their website and includes all of the parks coasters, among other rides. I have to say that this would be something I would be extremely interested in as an add on to my platinum pass. I'd think it would have to be at a much much higher price point if it were ever implemented at KI or CP though.
  16. They must have gotten a deal on red when they repainted T3.
  17. That first airtime hill looks insane! I like the trains a lot better running through the course than I did when I first saw them.
  18. ^Agreed. I didn't mean to call the ride tame, just that they weren't trying to build El Toro or T-Express here. With BBW gone there is a bit of a gap in their coaster lineup in terms of height restriction. Even Verbolten's is 48" if I remember correctly. They could use a ride that would bridge the gap and let families with kids in that 42-47" experience together.
  19. I got the feeling this is aimed at families more than hard core thrill seekers, so the 48 mph seems reasonable.
  20. This looks like a great addition! Much more thought out than Tempesto was.
  21. We covered 3.6 miles in 3.5 hours in that area during our trip to Dollywood in 2012.
