  1. ^"Even though its obvious from the Bible that homosexual behavior and gay marriage are an abomination (Romans 1 and other passages make this very clear), there is a foundational reason as to why there is an increasing acceptance of these ills in America and societies like it." -Ken Hamm From this article: https://answersingenesis.org/family/homosexuality/how-should-a-christian-respond-to-gay-marriage/
  2. The billboard company can't take them down? Joke or not, talk about something you wouldn't hear from current SIX or FUN marketing departments.
  3. While I probably won't use any of them it is still great to see offers like this. Does anyone know if other CF parks are doing similar local discounts for pass holders?
  4. Yeah, if that is the finished product (strictly speaking of the tower) then I'm sticking with hideous.
  5. Worse than being in the hands of SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment? I don't know. Just asking. That's a fair question. Does Herschend have the financial resources it would take to acquire the Busch parks?
  6. It would be an absolute travesty to see either/both Busch Gardens in the hands of Six Flags.
  7. Yeah that article does not make the future look very bright at all.
  8. Trying to decide if that glorious drop cancels out that hideous tower...
  9. This really makes me want to get back down there. I am very sorry that you apparently bumped your head at some point before riding Wild Eagle, as this is the only way you could possibly think that Gatekeeper is the better of the two. It is always fun to get to experience a new park, thanks for taking the time to share with us!
  10. For me personally, its Diamondback. There are a lot of great rides at KI but I have found that only Diamondback allows me to go off into my own little world whilst riding and truly get lost in the whole atmosphere of the ride.
  11. I can only imagine the level of precision involved when working with two cranes that size. Hats off to those that construct the thrills we all enjoy.
  12. It looks like riders would be in a capsule of sorts. Intriguing idea that I'm sure will catch on if they can show it is safe and reliable.
  13. 63' with a 58' drop and 1,175' of track according to RCDB. http://rcdb.com/12392.htm
  14. I didn't find Steel Hawg to be too bad in that department. My wife (who is super sensitive to roughness, headbanging, etc.) did choose to sit out the 2nd ride when she went but I would say it delivers less headbanging than a non 5-1 ride on Vortex.
  15. I think this looks like a fun ride! It will be interesting to see how this turns out. Great to see a small park/FEC installing a ride like this.
  16. ^Gotcha. I agree that the video does make it look like a more complete ride experience than it appeared to be when announced. Hopefully it translates well in real life.
  17. ^Not knocking you but why does the track's proximity to the tower make or break this ride design for you?
  18. That is an awesome picture. All of the photos they posted today look incredible. Edit to avoid double post: The picture of the Thunderbird train from IAAPA looks great too!
  19. How long was FoF closed for? Down 300,000 rides seems like a lot, even with the problems they had.
  20. Thus the hotel renovations at Cedar Point, the rumors of hotels being added at other properties, and the expanded entertainment offerings. I think they are hoping to be the destination for more of the vacations as well as the 'staycations'.
  21. Great 'off year' addition for the park. My wife will love the new Starbucks and I love the return of a classic ride.
  22. As both a member of this site and a licensed educator, this may be the most interesting topic I have come across on this site in quite some time.
