Just got back from the park. I forgot to bring my camera so sorry no pictures... It just looks like a lot more footers are about to be poured, escpecially in the former Thunder Alley area.

Cedar Point would be about the most boring park ever to me even if just Maverick was taken out, but take out the other Intamins, I would've never gone to Cedar Point in the first place. Their big coasters before the 2000's I don't even like. Raptor- I don't like inverts Mantis- I don't think much of anyone actually LIKES stand-ups. Magnum- It hurts like he**/heck Mean Streak- Meh. The only coaster I like out of the non-Intamin list is Gatekeeper.

I would die of boredom waiting that long for the announcement. But I must admit, it would be a mighty great Christmas present.

I'm not sure purple paired with any kind of green would work too well.

What can I do to join it and how much would it cost do so?

I hate pretty much hate all the songs that are played in the park. But then again I also hate nearly every single song that is played regularly on the mainstream radio, so I guess I can't complain. I do enjoy hearing Right Now by Van Halen in Drop Tower's que however, and I think I may have heard Nightmare by Avenged at Haunt one time. I like that song. It's too bad they don't play Avenged Sevenfold more during Haunt. I know some songs by them that would REALLY fit the atmosphere!

But doesn't Cedar Fair want rides that parents "they want to ride with their kids, and more importantly, not because of their kids?" This proves we're getting a giga and not and invert! (Not really, I hardly have any idea what we're getting next year.)

I may be mistaken but didn't AE use to have 3 trains instead of 2?

I don't really care if the train sits idle for a little bit while on the ride. I like to anticipate the launch and think about what just happened on the other side of the circuit. As long as you get ON THE RIDE in a quick amount of time its not like its boring sitting idle for a bit.

^But how come whenever I'm in line for it the line always moves just as fast as Diamondback?, If not even faster.

Also I think TTD's hourly capacity is a bit higher than that. Yes but on an inverts a ton of blood always rushes to your legs which is something I find to be very uncomfortable. I just don't know why, but inverts have always seemed too intense for me and not very fun to make up for it. I guess it has to do with the center of gravity...

I still think a giga like Millennium Force would be more family-friendly than a headache invert.

It's funny you say this. Many others on this site would argue that the "family oriented" thing to do would be to build the invert and not the giga. But I completely agree with you. Inverts are more intense than gigas IMO. It was actually what I was thinking this whole time, but never could find the right words to put it.

As Much as I like this, This Coaster design has way to much of a thing called "Theming"... And we all know Cedar Fair's Attitude towards that... or rather, their Lack of attitude.. Can we really say that about Cedar Fair now?.... Lets give the company a few more years and see how the theming at the parks goes......Because so far, Matthew has the parks and the company headed in a good direction. Just remember.... Out with the Kinzel - In with the Ouimet... I'm actually really glad Kinzel's gone. He was too old-fashioned. With Ouimet now in office it's time for the modernization to begin!
