I'll probably be going to ERT tomorrow and will take more pictures of construction. Just wondering, is ERT 30 minutes before opening or an hour before opening this year? Because I could've sworn last year it was an hour but I'm not sure.

It may have better hills but which trains take advantage of them more? You may get ejector air on an Intamin but their restraint systems are painful! Tell me one Intamin that has decent restraints that don't staple you. Wicked Twister, Millenium Force, TTD. I've never had any problems with those...

The policy states you cannot bring outside food and beverages into the park! Why can't people understand that? And you can get drinks all around the park! This is the same person who will then blame the park for not having security because their personal belongings were taken by thieves. Just think: this lady is all concerned about food & water. They obviously must have a cooler. Why not just keep it in the car like other thrifty park guests? Or why not right outside the gate near the picnic tables? That's where we always put our cooler and nothings ever gotten stolen from it... It's also very convenient.

It wasn't me who ripped off that sticker if you're wondering. It was like that when I found it!

All I remember is that they looked very similar to what I see on the DB trains. They may or may have not been identical though, I'm really not sure. But if what I saw is indeed destined for Kings Island, I think I can pretty much rule out the possibility of an invert. I have never seen an invert with trains that have anything that looks like what I saw.
-
I know those are DB seats. I'm just trying to show you what I saw on that truck I saw on the highway while heading to Kings Island. I saw 10 or 20 of what is circled in green on that truck.

Well it was a fruitful day at KI yesterday. The lines weren't too long, I got some good pictures of construction and I even spotted a fellow KIC member while in line for Diamondback! (I don't who it was but he was wearing the official KI Central T-shirt.) So let me start off with this: On the drive up there I saw this huge flatbed truck carrying what appeared to me the black steel bottoms that usually go onto the trains of most modern steel roller coasters if you know what I'm talking about. It was going the same way as us as far as I know until it fell behind of us and was out of sight. I wish I would have gotten a picture but I didn't have my camera ready. They looked like this: After this post settles a while I'll post my construction photos...

Hyper<Giga<Strata is what I always name my signature coaster in RCT2. It has the out and back layout of a hypercoaster; the trains, track design, and cable lift of a gigacoaster; and the speed and height to classify it as a stratacoaster.

Don't flatter yourself.
-
Maybe the new coaster will feature the world's first ever "diversion" inversion.
-
I'm going up tomorrow. I'll post some pics from top of the Eiffel Tower probably.
-
Maybe the new coaster will be called Diversion. Hence would explain all of these diversions...

The Name Banshee is rather old.As far as names go. Perhaps, but it's never actually been used for a coaster before. I don't think Mantis really counts since it didn't open with the "Banshee" name. And besides, the name "King Cobra" and "The Bat" are much older....and in the context of Terp's comment, I'd be more inclined to say they better fit the phrase "what was old is new again". Just my humble opinion. Speaking of which....why are people so sure our coaster will be called "Banshee"? Because Screamscape said it would so it has to be true! Right?
-
Now that is some state-of-the-art decoding, alright!
-
I think lots of people want an Intamin. I know I do. Lucky Kings Dominion... I'm not trolling, I'm just saying.
-
You mean the first ever "petacoaster"? I wish, but no.

You ruined a park map! Yes that is right!!! I ruined it just so you would cry about. Now I think I'll burn it and post a picture of it. Muuuuhahaha! But seriously, I have like 15-20 of those in my junk drawer. 315 foot hill into a low to the ground banked turn?!? YIKES!!!!! But isn't that what i305 kind of like? Oh and that's 312 ft actually... Take that Millennium Force.

Abandoned Theme Parks

Abandoned waterparks are always the creepiest! I'm sure glad The Beach re-opened... -

Here's a little something I drew when I was bored one day (and yes that's a CP map!):

I have an idea, let's try to decode what color the new ride will be. Colors the park already has: Firehawk- Red Diamondback- Red Vortex- Purple Invertigo- Turquoise Flight Deck- Grey The Beast- Brown Therefore the colors that are left that could be used for the track of the new coaster include but are not limited to: -Green -Yellow - Dark Blue - Perhaps a darker or lighter shade of Vortex's purple Personally, if the ride is to be named and themed to a Banshee, I was thinking that the track could be a dark shade of purple or blue while the supports would be black in order to add to the "spooky" theme. That's just me. What do you guys think? EDIT: Are you happy now secondson?
-
I actually agree with YoungStud for once. The Vekoma flyers are far superior to the B&M ones, in my opinion. I second that, however, I've never ridden Tatsu.
-
Intimidator 305, Skyrush, Bizarro (SFNE), El Toro, T-Express, Jack Rabbit (Kennywood), Phantoms Revenge, Zeus, and Outlaw Run for the starters. Don't forget Tornado at Stricker's Grove. EDIT: Oh, and how can we forget Maverick?

Neither have I. However, unfortunately the ejector air on Magnum makes me go "whoa" in a bad way. In other words, it hurts like he**/heck! For Cedar Point to fork out $30 million on Gatekeeper, but then give us another transplant, would be a MAJOR slap in KI's face. I'd lose all respect for the company. If that happened I would officially call Cedar Point the "coach's son" of Cedar Fair. If it already isn't...
