  1. ^^Sorry but I'm lost here...what does POS stand for?
  2. I actually really hope Lance is wrong and that were not getting a wing for 2014 in that former SOB area. I'm really hoping for a giga and if they don't build one there, then I don't think we will ever get a giga coaster.
  3. Just curious, but does anyone remember what Screamscape said during the follow-up of Diamondback?
  4. Intamin, Steel, sit down, Yes and No... It's complicated; if the new coaster happens to be a Mega-Lite or Dive coaster, I do hope it has inversions. However, if it turns out to be a shiny new giga I hope it does NOT feature inversions. What about Cedar Point roller coasters that are out of this world? Terp, who likes to ask questions. Oh you mean Millenium Force, Top Thrill Dragster, Maverick, and Gatekeeper? BeastForever, who greatly shuns Magnum and Raptor.
  5. 1. Diamondback 2. The Beast 3. Flight of Fear 4. Firehawk 5. The Racer 6. Vortex 7. Adventure Express 8. Backlot Stuntcoaster 9. Flight Deck 10. Invertigo Sorry, I don't ride the kiddie coasters.
  6. Whatever, you know what I mean. They like to build lots of modern thrill coasters. By "modern" I mean hypers, gigas, and stratas.
  7. Isn't the name "Banshee" offensive or something? I know that Mantis at Cedar Point was originally supposed to be named Banshee but they changed it for the same reason.
  8. Kings Island is a family-oriented park. It's not in the business of always pleasing the thrill junkies who need a bigger, badder, faster coaster to provide their rush for them. If they had been listening to you, don't you think they would have had a full-circuit invert, a floorless, and a giga long before now? Don't you think they would have replaced King Cobra with another world-class standup coaster within a couple of years after removing it? Don't you think they would have built a custom flying coaster, instead of giving us a leftover from Geauga Lake? It took them 20 years....TWENTY YEARS....just to get a steel hyper coaster. But it only took them 3 years once they were finally owned and operated by a "modern thrill"-oriented company.
  9. I agree.I third that. Doesn't anyone else think inverts are outdated? And head swirlers? No, I don't think inverts are outdated. If that's the thought process, why did we even get Diamondback to begin with? I mean, by the time we finally got it, hypers had already been around for 20 years. Magnum opened in 1989, and look how long it took for KI to finally get a steel hyper. Not only that, but why do they still build wooden coasters? Aren't they outdated by now? No, wooden coasters(if executed well) and hyper coasters are not outdated because they are still every major amusement parks' biggest attractions. Inverts...not so much.
  10. If the giga were to be built by Intamin and not B&M it would have a completely different ride experience from Diamondback.
  11. I think this is a monstrosity. Gatekeeper was built within a short time frame September-March. So Kings Island starting construction this early may suggest that we are getting something larger than Gatekeeper, and that itself is a monstrosity. I hope it's something bigger than Gatekeeper!
  12. I agree. I third that. Doesn't anyone else think inverts are outdated? And head swirlers?
  13. ^It better be a coaster or I truly will be PO'd!!
  14. I like pop-punk and "Avenged Sevenfold-like" rock.
  15. Sorry, no.You have any idea what the Powerball numbers will be tonight? Maybe...
  16. Will Coastermania make it more crowded?
  17. Pointbuzz apparently says a Friday is usually less crowded than a Monday or a Wednesday. Do they actually mean that or are they bs'ing it? http://pointbuzz.com/Forums/Thread/22760.aspx (I hope they are right)
  18. But it's June instead of July. Does that help?
  19. ^Like I haven't heard that one a million times...
  20. Does anyone have an idea of what kind of crowds to expect on that day?
  21. Although you can never have enough B&Ms, I'd like to see an Intamin Giga Coaster or Maverick type-ride for variety.
  22. How likely would it be that Kings Island's next BIG coaster be a B&M Dive-Machine? (I weely wunt wun pweease!)
  23. I think I'm in that picture!!! Hey kblanken, when exactly did you take that?
  24. Hard: the PotatoWorks sign Easy: Invertigo about to drop
