The Beast isn't on the ERT lineup? No, and, Surf Dog was down the last two times I was there (Sun, Weds). The curse of the ERT rides is in full effect...got Vortex last year.

So, Don, with DB down for the week, and Invertigo still down as of yesterday, what will the "adult" ERT rides be next week?

Invertigo was down on Weds, as well as last Sunday. Perhaps, like last year with The Vortex, the curse of the wrong ERT ride...lol

The empty seats are a HUGE problem for the rides and the FL system. I agree, it is very frustrating to see car after car go up the hill on DB with 5,6, 7 empty seats. I think that the simple way to solve the issue is to have two or three rows, depending on crowd, reserved solely for FL riders, no more than that. If everyone else is waiting 90 minutes, FL riders can wait 10 or 15. And FILL UP THE CARS!

I enjoy the Firehawk ride, HATE the restraints. At 6'6" 235 lbs, they are just a painfully bad fit. However, the experience in the front is worth the aggravation.

So it takes a break during its runs, now? Be here all week...try the veal.

The lady in front looked at me like I had two heads when I left at 9:25am. "Do you need your hand stamped?" No. She must have thought something was wrong. I will say, too...the ticket takers were waving, high fiving, and being very nice and boisterous this morning when they came out. Very cool to see, had NEVER seen anything like that there before. A nice touch, especially would be for a first time visitor.

WindSeeker was moving up and down this morning...didn't see it spin, but, was indeed moving. Progress.

Got in 4 rides in 20 minutes this morning on DB...only had to move from the front row to the second row, then stayed in the second row three times. Made it to work before 10am.

Horrible...I cross the front with my arms crossed in front of my face, saying "no, no, no, no", and STILL, they hound you. They need to be much, MUCH less pushy.

Eureka! We have the 7 things...gonna throw out the Crapt building, as they are still using it. 7 defunct rides, all rolled into one. Flight Commander que, SOB station, KC track, Bat cars, Sky Ride supports, KCKC splashdown, and Papa Smurf laughing as you re enter the station. I hope Matt, Greg, and Don are keeping a careful eye on this thread. This is a billion dollar idea!

Would also need to re-use the que for Flight Commander, the supports for the Sky Ride to reach across the park, and, the cars for The Bat.

Would be tough to implode that ride, due to it's proximity to other rides in the park. If we see a Craigslist ad for 2.5 million board feet of free Yellow Pine, we'll know.

No idea if you have any inside information or not, but playing along, my bet would be Timberwolf. It's only used once a year anyways. You have to figure that the SOB space is not going to sit like it is forever... Timberwolf is a giant waste of real estate...they only use it for Jeebus-Fest one weekend a year now, anyway.

And, oh how I miss the old night rides in the rain in the last 80's. I just wish that they could figure out a way, given the current system, to ease up on the trim braking. Just so sudden.
