  1. Anaconda is an okay ride. It was a little rough though, but again it is Arrow. Even though Vortex is Arrow I don't think Vortex is rough LOL.
  2. What is the deal with the Fearfest Hurst? It would be cool if it was actually at KI during Fearfest.
  3. Kings Island has always been open the last Sunday in September. The company that rents that park out for that Saturday before 9/23 only needs the park for one day. Some companys will rent the park for the entire weekend. This weekend is P&G buyout.
  4. That had to be late 80's to early 90's, before Paramount took over. Yes the fountain looks bad in that pic. The Fountain does look much better now.
  5. Leave it, fix it, and open it in 2007.
  6. Ditto, I would enjoy a couple of it too. Maybe you could upload it somewhere? Is that possible?
  7. Yeah that would be cool. I wonder if we e-mailed PKI about it, if they could help us out.
  8. Ummm Top Gun will be around in 2007, but will it be called Top Gun? I don't see that ride leaving Kings Island anytime soon. I would forsee Son of Beast being removed way before Top Gun.
  9. I really hope PKI's parking passes are not a sticker. It works much better if they are on your pass. In this day and age, people have more then one car. Does anyone know how PKI plans on doing there parking passes for 2007? Do any other Cedar Fair park put them on the pass?
  10. Probably the last few people talking avtange of the buy one get on free admission.
  11. Nice Job.
  12. P&G Day was also on the easiest weekend to work, those people we so nice, never had any problems with them. Now GE Day that was totally different. They were some of the stupidest people I ever dealt with working at PKI. I caught so many people jumping thru the trains at AE, and not just the seats, but the actually area of the trains were the cars hitch to each other.
  13. Congo Falls normally doesn't close early. They are still some warm days even in October. If they are going to put Fear Fest films in the FX Theather this year, then yes they will be closing soon too.
  14. I remember the location of Happy Days being Thrill Burger, then it went to Tuckers, and now Happy Days.
  15. I could see tomorrow being White Water Canyon's last day of the season. Also if they use the Scrambler for a que line for fearfest I could see Scrambler being closed when the park reopens to the public.
  16. I agree, cause not everyone drives the same car all the time. I know myself I don't always go with the same person, or even drive the same vehicle evertime I go to the park. So hopefully KI's parking passes will be on the pass, and no a sticker you have to put on your car. If it is, I'm sure they will be some complaints. from pki.com season pass page.
  17. I have some old Kings Island commericals on Video from the 20th Anniversary Special that aired on TV. All of the rides they showed in the video were actual Kings Island rides. Vortex, King Cobra, The Beast, Amazon Falls, Etc.
  18. Well if you look at it, the $74.95 per pass is actually around the same price as the 4 pack per pass. I don't believe Cedar Fair has ever offered Family Passes. from pki.com
  19. Someone in another thread said they called PKI Today and asked about the free parking to renewing pass holders, and they said yes. So hopefully we do. I don't even see a mention on pki.com about parking passes.
  20. The only commerical they have shown on PKI.com all summer is that lame one for Nick U. I wish they put all of them on PKI.com like they used too... What's this new commerical talking about?
  21. Vallyfair! 2007 Season Passes So now what is the hold up with PKI's 2007 season passes?
  22. I'm a smoker myself, and I have no problem using the smoking areas. I actually like the smoking area, as I tend to smoke less when I'm at PKI, but when I do decide to lite-up I'm in a smoking area.
  23. Something I find funny about PKI's smoking areas are, non-smokers will sit in a smoking area, and these are proabaly the people who complain about the smoke. Or people will be sitting in the smoking areas then then the smokers can't smoke there either.
  24. It's just another way for the city's Government to make more money. An extra $1 per person could bring the city an extra 3 million dollars a year. We pay enough taxes already, we don't need to pay anymore.
  25. Well I'm glad they have decided to take there time with the reopening of Son of Beast. Maybe just maybe they will fix it right this time. Here's to a Spring of 2007 reopening of Son of Beast.
