  1. Kings Island only for me as well. I agree with CoastersRZ, because I only plan on going to CP maybe once next summer, so it's not worth the extra cash for the Maxx Pass for me.
  2. No people on SOB, they were the test dummies...
  3. Here is a PKI picture slide show I made, check it out.
  4. Hmmm. The train was in the station? Looked like I could see it in the back of the picture.
  5. I already said this in the other season pass thread, but I thought I'll add it here. PKI has taken off the press release about 2007 season pass, from the pki media center page. Wonder what this all means?
  6. We already know we aren't getting a major coaster. So this is no news. We will probably be getting a flat ride for next year.
  7. Another interesting note. The press release from pki.com about 2007 season passes is now gone as well. So it looks as if some last minute changes are going to take place for the 2007 season pass plan.
  8. What I can't figure out, I'm glad we won 2 awards this year, but what is so special about Timberwolf? In my opinion its starting to look a little run down.
  9. Yes something smells fishy to me. I wonder what is going on? Obviouslly though Cedar Fair had to decide PKI's season pass program for 2007 because of the menition of the Cedar Fair Maxx Pass. But why the delay it's starting to worry me too.
  10. Hmm sounds like they are going to let you use that credit torwards a season pass if you don't already have one. I guess for the inconvence.
  11. Well now that we have some information about the delay in selling 2007 passes. Who knows what information is correct. What is on PKI's website or what the representative said could be or not be true. Hopefully we will find out soon enough what the problem or problems that made them delay pass sales. You know I just though of something. Remember they first said the season passes would go on sale on Friday 8/25, but the article said Saturday 8/26. Maybe just maybe they put that message on PKI's Season Pass page because they are not availble for purchase today? I don't know just a guess.
  12. You know I didn't even think about that. That may turn out to be the issue, but who knows. But why would they need to merge the systems now, The Maxx pass was only going to be good at PKI anyway for the rest of the season.
  13. Wow! Now this could get interesting. Well lets hope nothing seriously is wrong, with the season pass plans for 07.
  14. LOL he was screaming like a girl. He really doesn't like rollercoasters I take it.
  15. Well then the press release on PKI.com is false advertising, and then all hell will hit the fan if that's true. All renewing 2006 season pass holders will receive FREE season-long parking, provided they purchase their passes and have photo IDs taken at the park by October 29. Renewing pass holders should bring their 2006 passes with them to the park when they have their photo IDs taken. For new pass holders, season-long parking is available for $34.95 per pass. Parking is valid at Paramount's Kings Island only. Source pki.com Media Center.
  16. I seriously doubt that we will see a ride named after a Paramount Movie in 2007. But I could be wrong.
  17. They are either have some kind of computer problems, or maybe they don't have the actual 2007 passes in yet. I have no idea, but sounds interesting.
  18. Oh trust me I know what you mean. I was an Op on Action Theater in 2000 when we had Bond. That got really annoying hearing it everyday, I heard in my sleep. And don't even get me started on the pre-shows LOL. In 2001 I saw/heard my fair share of 7th Portal and Smash Factory too. And then there is Fearfest LOL.
  19. Yes that makes since as well. I figured out on my own as well, if I was to visit Cedar Point next summer, it wouldn't be worth for me buy the maxx pass. If I pay $74.95 for the PKI pass, then lets say admission to Cedar Point is $39.99 (Of course AAA always has discounts). It's still cheaper for me just to get the normal pass. So unless you plan on visiting all of the ohio parks next summer or other Cedar Fair parks, the maxx pass won't be worth it.
  20. Well I guess they look at it this way. $124.95 is a steal for admission to 12 parks all season long. Lets say if the price for a day ticket for a child is 19.99 at all the parks, then 19.99 x 12 = $239.88 so its a good value if your going to travel alot. Even if you only visit 12 times at the 3 ohio parks, it isn't a bad deal. Granted your getting a much better value with being an adult.
  21. The brand-new Cedar Fair Maxx Pass provides access to all 12 Cedar Fair amusement parks across the country, including both Cedar Point and Geauga Lake located in Ohio. This pass is priced at $125 for both adults and children. The Maxx Pass can be used at Paramount's Kings Island immediately and is valid at all Cedar Fair amusement parks during the 2007 season. Taken from the press release at pki.com.
  22. I still miss 7th Portal. I thought that was much better then SB. The seats seems to have alot more motion during 7th Portal.
  23. They do it for staffing reasons. And probably from what happened last year when they brought DOT back. Remember last year they had both sides open at the same time, but the DOT side had no line what soever so this way this doesn't happen. So this way only opening each side for half of the day, they will have riders come and ride.
  24. You be shocked as to who in their 50s has given you more accurate information than anyone else. PKIC is already 2 years old, dude!!! He's saying his birthday will be his 2nd anniversary of being a member of PKIC. I'm 26 here.
  25. LOL My bad, I fixed my little typo.
