Actually it's possible reguardless of the rides rep. I was at the park on July 4th and the park wasn't that busy at all. I got on Face/Off in about 15 minutes. It just depends on where the crowds are at what point of the day. I rode Son of Beast twice on July 4th with about a 10 minute wait each time.

May have just been a typo. But yes it was 1991 when Black Sunday happened.

Besides that, Fearfest is a good way to get people in the park in the late fall season. Besides that, it's so much fun riding a coaster at 12am.

I beleive you can go to Guest Relations to get a one time height check. Then what ever height they are at, they will be giving a wrist band so no further measuring should be required.

Sorry for the double post. But I wrote an e-mail to PKI about Winterfest. Is there going to be a Winterfest for 2006? They are no more adivertisements in the park for it. Also you can no longer purchase tickets. If it is not being held this year, what happens if you bought advanced tickets? please keep checking in the near future and we will have an annoucement on the winterfest closer to the event any further information please let me know. thank you Charlise R. Fearfest is on schedule for 2006. Of course whatever Cedar Fair will do next year is not known.

I'm not even sure what my own opinion on SOB is anymore. When they made the announcement about SOB back in 1999 it sounded so awesome. Then during the off season of that year, we heard about part of it falling down. Then we hear about the lawsuit. Then it opens Late in April of 2000, to only shut down for a few more weeks, as they tell us they want to smooth a 15 foot section of track. Rumors going around that time was that the trains were ripping the track apart. I wouldn't be surprised if they haven't been quite a bit of injuries on the SOB. I think it's time for some serious re-working to be done to it, or just tear it down. Is it really worth it anymore? I would be awesome for them to bulid a B&M on that plot of land, and I bet alot of people would be happy about that.

Only time will tell what will happen to SOB. I wonder if alot of it's problems were caused from construction? Anyone remember how bad the second helix used to sway? You could see it from the station.

Alot of people have complain of the roughness of SOB. I have a feeling it's days are numbered. The accident that happened my be the icing on the cake. But i'm not really sure what is going to happen to SOB. I wouldn't be surprised if SOB never runs again.

I agree. Kings Island a Cedar Fair LP Park, sounds better then Paramount's Kings Island a Cedar Fair LP Park. I think this will be the last year of the parks having the Paramount slapped on their names.

International Street Pizza is always open when the park is closing. I always see lots of people getting pizzas to go.

Yes if they indeed don't have it. I wish they would have it though for 2006 and then decide what they can do better with it.

That's interesting. Paramount Canada's Wonderland a Cedar Fair LP Park. But i'm sure all the rest of the press releases this year will follow suit. When PKI releases the Fear Fest Press Release it will say. Paramount's Kings Island A Cedar Fair LP Park.

In the park they took down everything that had Winter Fest on it also the maps. Now it says Nick or Treat. So I think Winter Fest is no longer. Also they are not selling any tickets to Winter Fest. Cedar Fair said back in May that we would know for sure by Labor Day Weekend if they would be a Winterfest in 2006. I hope they had it, it was fun last year when I went.

They have been doing this for years. Happy Days/Tuckers always closed around 9pm. Alot of people don't eat there late evening. I beleive Wings always closed an hour before the park too.

Hmmm inspecting more track I'd guess? Is the train still on the lift? I would guess it still is.

Top Gun to me is still a good ride, it's short yes, but it still is pretty intense. Too bad the last helix wasn't over water like PCW's Vortex. PCW's Vortex and our Top Gun is almost the same ride.

I think they should get rid of the Paramout name. If Paramount doesn't have anything to do with the parks, why call them Paramount's ___________. I think it should just be known as Kings Island from 2007 on.

Sounds like you had a good time, without riding alot of rides. Glad you two enjoyed yourselfs.

Unless your in a middle seat of a car, I wouldn't want to ride more then once in a row over a wheel.

Id have to go with King Cobra, Flight Commander, and Flying Eagles.

I can tell you as far as I know, that the cameras on the rides do not record, but I could be wrong.
