I have heard Diamondback has received Seat Belts for this season. Do not know if this is true, but if it is I don't see a reason why it would need a seat belt.

I actually remember days with light staffing they would sometimes run Backwards for about half the day than Frontwards have the day. I do however miss the Backwards side. I can't believe its been gone 6 years already. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk

Depending on how traffic is that morning they could open the lot earlier as well. They don't want huge traffic jams of people waiting to get into the park. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk

That information has yet to be released. The park doesn't even open till noon on opening day.

The Big Bad Wolf was the first successful Suspended Coaster.

Yep and The Beast returns to regular Fast Lane.

Those rails have to be replaced from time to time. Just routine maintenance. I just hope they don't forget and accidentally send a train, that would be bad!

If past Easters have any say when the park was open I'd say the park will be pretty dead on the 20th. I think this is one reason for the 12 to 7 operating hours. They really should add the color lights back to it. It used to looks so nice at night with the arch and the arms changing colors at night. And now that its not rusted anymore it would really show up.

Antique cars were also open during WinterFest at least during the 1991 WinterFest, I remember the had the Smurf props scattered along the course. I want to say Dodgem was open as well. In 2005 they also had Top Cat's Taxi Jam open.

Yes Cedar Point doesn't usually cut the line till about 8 minutes after close. I have ran around and rode Magnum several times after the parks closing hour.

Looks like a totally different ride. It reminds me a lot of when it opened in 1993 when it was bright red. I can't wait to see it in person in about 3 1/2 weeks. It's hard to believe really that the park opens just 3 weeks from Friday, I really believe this off season went fast!

Unless the show times will be different for opening weekend guess we will find out!

I just hope the weather will be decent for opening weekend. I want to enjoy my b-day weekend not getting soaked lol.

Shows have been posted on visitkingsisland.com. Seems they will be no Shows opening weekend. The Boyz are Back, Charlie Browns Hoe Down, and Peanuts Party in the Plaza do not open till April 26th.

When you random blurt out different park spiels that you have heard so many times that you have them memorized. "Alright Stunt Crew now listen up, as with any driving stunt safety first so stay seated with your head against the head rest and your arms and legs inside the vehicle at all times. Secure any loose articles are leave them with the crew before we roll."

I remember when Kings Island used to have signs posted a poplar rides (The Beast Comes to mind) in the late 80's and early 90's that do to ride popularity it may be necessary to close the que line prior to the park closing hour. Obviously they do not do this anymore.

When you get excited watching POV's of coasters on You Tube and put your hands up in your chair.

I've seen quite a few concerts at Timberwolf in the 90's I highly enjoyed them.
