When was the last time the fog curtain projection worked? That was an awesome affect and I'm sad that it hasn't worked at least the last 2 to 3 seasons. It may have only worked during it's first season as Boo Blasters?

That's cool, I'm just saying that most Intamin rides have not opened ontime, or has seen it's fair share of being down for month's at a time.

If KI can get a Giga coaster next I would say it's lineup would be pretty darn good.

I still don't think Kings Island manages Fast Lane correctly. It's done much different at Cedar Point and I'm not sure why that is? A training issue perhaps?But while on my afternoon Beast ride the separator at Beast was letting everyone through the Fast Lane line all at the same time while only allowing a few in the regular line go. I do not have a problem with Fast Lane I just wish it was handled a little better, it's not called Walk On Lane. I mean it should be an even amount of Fast Lane versus the normal line. Even if someone has to wait 5 to 10 minutes while in the Fast Lane Que that is still better then us waiting in line for 30 to 45 minutes. What do you all think?

Yep usually they raise the parking on weekends, more cars come thru the lot esp on Saturdays so more money in there bank lol.

Vortex still has it's seat belt and has never been removed since it was added.

Yes the food prices are high but they are to be excepted being it's a theme park and all. They have to make money some where.

I noticed Opening Weekend that a lot of the green paint on Firehawk was showing through form it's X-Flight days. I tried to look again on Saturday while waiting to get on Blue Racer and didn't notice as much not sure if it was touched up or not.

These Belts are not from b&M either they are Kings Island (Cedar Fair's) Doing. They are the same type of belts that are on the other rides and coasters, the bright orange ones.

I know there has to be a reason who all seats are not like row 4. Not sure what your asking, but Row 4 has a longer belt to accommodate larger riders. Usually coined as the big boy seats. B&M has installed them on a quite a few of there coasters.

And that's no longer an issue. Wow... that shouldn't have happened. Whenever I go to the station, I just tell the ride op that I need row 4. I haven't had an issue with them denying me yet, but then the first three times I rode it were on Media Day and the only other time was opening day. Of course, the GP wouldn't automatically know to do this. Hopefully I won't ever get any pushback from a ride op for requesting that row, but if I do I'm ready to enlighten them on why I need it. The chaser lights on Racer needs to be replaced with new LED like what was done to Rebel Yell for this season. A lot of the chasers on The Racer don't even work anymore.

The only difference to me is you can feel the magnetic trims grabbing the train and slowing it down, when it had the skid breaks you still slowed down but it slowed down much slower if that makes since. But The Beast is still a heck of a wooden coaster, and it's still the longest wooden coaster even after 35 years.

Actually 3 coasters have been in operation for 35 or more years at Kings Island. The Racer, The Beast, and Woodstock Express. Woodstock Express and The Racer are 42 years old this year.

That's cool to hear, I'm sure it will get much longer lines this year with the new toy opening up next door. I think Flight Deck (The Bat) really suffered in ridership ever since SOB was closed. But I'm hoping it gets more attention now, it's really is a great ride.

Yep between Cedar Point and Kings Island but defiantly at Kings Island more.
