Also appears the safety guide has been taken down. What about the operator booth?
-
Part of me thinks the reason why Ride Operators do not climb up the lifts at Kings Island to retrieve phones is most of Kings Island's Ride Operators are minors and unlike Cedar Point Ride Operators are 18 or older. But back when I worked at Kings Island 1999 - 2001 minors even though I wasn't one back then were permitted to climb the lifts, so I have no idea if policy was changed from then till now. I'm just really afraid someone will get smacked in the head with something one of these days. I also like how they announce at every ride at Cedar Point that Cell Phones are prohibited to be out while on the ride and selfies are not permitted etc.
-
I just wish Kings Island would do a much better job with Cell Phones on rides. Cedar Point will stop the lift if they see a phone out and walk up and get it, not at Kings Island, they just make an announcement over the PA on the lift. Also not sure why riders are permitted to hold sovernier bottles while on a ride? I got splashed by someone's bottle the last time I was on Racer. I just hope no one ever gets hurts by someone who doesn't have loose articles secured.

Just and FYI rows 4 and 5 are the rows on Banshee now that are a little more forgiving for bigger riders. Not sure why they decided to add row 5 to the mix but they did. I have to use these rows so it's all good lol.
-
So how would it work for row 1?
-
We walked right onto The Bat this past Saturday at like 4 in the afternoon.

The cell phone and loose article situation needs addressed at Kings Island. I do not feel its safe for a guest to be carrying loose articles onto the rides. I got wet from someone who had their drink bottle on Racer yesterday. I hate to say it but someone will get hit by a loose article sooner or later I hate to say it.

90 minute waits yesterday? I'm not sure where your getting that from. We waited 15 minutes for Express 30 minutes for Banshee, walked on The Bat, Racer 10 mins, Vortex closer to 20 minutes. Losing it's popularity please!

Why does that Fast Lane sign still list Flight of Fear under Fast Lane?
-
If storms are on the radar 10 miles away from the park they will start shutting things down as a precaution.

Ride lines were not horrible today I've seen worse. Did the luau didn't wait in that line but it was fun doing some Soak City things later in the evening.

An Interesting Drink Pass A Park Employee Offered Me Today
PKIVortex replied to Miythandria's topic in Kings Island
No thanks I'm not going to get that many refills to make it worth my while. -
Technically speaking, the only Haunt attraction that clutters up/takes up space for it to be a legitimate issue for guests is Urgent Scare as half of its layout takes up most of Action Theater's exit area. Everything else is backstage and well far out of the way from park guests. But who knows, this may just be part of a multi-year plan to phase out the Crypt Haunt location in order to give the prior building the Guardian treatment. Here's to hoping Guest Flow won't be that big of an issue come September with now three houses next to each other on the same brick road... That really don't matter now as that whole area is blocked off, Action Theater isn't even used at all during the regular season now. So one can say another building only used for a month and half out of the season.

I will be there. Hope the weather is great for this.

Ninja at SFMM Accident

Let's not jump to conclusions about service life. If the upkeep is kept up I can't see why these coasters can't operate longer than 25 years. This is very sad indeed. -
And depending if they have the part in stock or if they have to specially make it. Look how long Delirium was down when it was waiting on parts.

Huss is in Germany.
-
From what I understood it's both trains.
-
Less weight per train and I'm not sure but with less weight wouldn't it use less electric launching? I have no idea if that's the case or not!
-
Heard from a friend who is the park today, the entire last car is tied off at Flight of Fear. So capacity has gone from 20 riders per train to only 16 per train. I think we know now why it's no longer a Fast Lane ride!
-
The other thing I was thinking too, are they running Flight of Fear with both trains or are they only running one train? That could be another reason as to not offer Fast Lane. Please keep us updated!

SF Gadv's Zumanjaro now has an opening date

It's an Intamin I expect it to have it's up and downs pun intended. -
Very Interesting to say the least. If the ride has reopened I wonder why they decided to not offer Fast Lane on it anymore. My only guess is the capacity already isn't very good on Fight of Fear so they are trying to improve how fast the line moves? Cause funny thing is it just became Plus after the season started and now it's not Fast Lane anything.

You can if you pay the difference between the normal parking price and preferred.
