I was wondering what type of coaster you think KI needs next? Really, I think KI should either get a woodie, stand-up, or a wing coaster.

I think that the Kochs would be a good choice for KK. It will probably help them build a bigger company which is good.

Has anyone else heard anything about the rattler at six flags fiesta texas getting re-constructed by rocky mountain?

Maybe they will re-make the sign above the entrance on Vortex for it's 25th anniversary (with some new 25th ann. trains) Have a good 25 more years Vortex!

I chose a Giga Coaster becuase My main reason for going to KI is there coasters and, another coaster would be great to add to KI's already diverse coaster population. BUT Son of Beast needs to make its we'll awaited return in 2013 and I think it will.

I love The Vortex unless I forget to keep my head back but I generally do. This is a great place to share your favorite memories of Vortex good or bad.

I did happen to notice the four spam posts this morning but I was very happy to later discover that they were deleted.

At this perspective it is kind of hard for me to tell what will or did happen to the Crypt actually for all I know it could be added to the map once the season starts, after a possible make-over and possible new name? (trying to be positive about the situation)

I was just not used to anything about SOB on their website but now all of a sudden I just forgot what SOB is, or what you called Son of Beast? But I too have never heard of it.

Did anyone else notice that if you search "Son of Beast" on their website it brings up 3 results! If you go on the "FAQ" section and then go on "KI by the year" it gives a more in depth description of it.

I wonder why the picture for BLSC is a paramount one with the water..... Maybe we'll get back the good old' BLSC

I don't know if anyone else noticed but KI got a new website. I knew that they needed one just as Kings Dominion got one. With that they got a their new calander and map.

Money is still owed on SoB? I didn't know either that there was money owed on SOB besides lawsuit stuff which I know was settled.

I agree with you. but I as I do think The Racer is a great coaster and park original, It does still need a make-over. The appearence of the ride is becoming kind of pitiful.

I just thought i'd make a new topic for the 40th anniversary to keep track of their progress in preparing for the anniversary and What are your memories from KI's past anniversaries? By the way if you look at their Diamondback-cam you can see that they already put stars up in the grass.

The trains are very cleaned up and they almost look new.

I was excited to see SOB so many times becuase I just thought that those were more hints towards 2013. Although I don't know why the stickers were off some of the trains.... The show was a big let down to me and I thought it was very fake, I do not usually watch ghost hunters but I thought I would since KI was going to be on there.

I REALLY like Son of Beast but I really DON'T like it enough to tresspass and get arrested for riding it but thanks for pointing out that option (I don't think anyone wants to ride it that bad)

Another good example of that is on the "Ride Warriors" website there is a video of the RW coaster checklist that features SOB. Although I don't think we'll be putting that on our checklist in 2012

I think Mr. Ouimet will take Cedar Fair to a level it's never been to before. And that is saying something.

We will all just have to wait because it will probably on the website sometime next month.

I was not saying that I know what is going to happen to SOB. That is what I wish or hope will happen although from my given point of view I think I will just have to sit back and see what happens now because if they announce anything at all which they haven't the past couple of years. Me questioning it's fate is not deciding anything so for now I will just sit back and wait until they decide.
