Thanks for the ptr! I think the crescendo of the whole PTR was a trip to Cracker Barrel! I hope you have an excellent off season and a hopefully you can get to KI for the last day!

It was torn down due to that the park found it necessary to do so. It was, to some, too "voracious" and was almost like SOB to a few. BB1, who knows too much, and greets often. Welcome to the KIC, land of BB memories and mass amounts of enthusiasts.

That's what I heard just a few days ago! In Flight Deck "Have a great ride on KI's only jet coaster, Top Gun" I simply thought "Yes!!" Can we go to Fightertown again?

Gold Star? Skyline? Dixie Chili? Empress Chili?

Photos of the Flight Deck queue and theming from Top Gun, interesting sight at what is going on there. : http://coaster-net.com/forums/index.php?/topic/5681-kings-islands-future/page-52#entry260898

Silver Bullet Knotts Berry Farms?

Day after day I hear tag lines and mottos of or about Cincinnati. This phrase and repetition of the city has began to hatch thoughts on what truly is Cincinnati? Is it a park that is 30 minutes away? Or is it the Germanic heritage that many can trace back to? All of which could be correct in a sense, so what are your thoughts?

Yes, that is one huge waste of paint, and money, which we all love money.

An Entire Amusement Park Crushed Into a Cube
BB1 replied to Voicetek's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
Great scott! This is a very impressive piece of art, just going to show you that through the fun of the past, one can find great work in the future. -
Well, do I remember the "kind" skunk(s), lovely they are, I hate them with an passion.

I just want the Eagles back....

It will lag very rarely now in days, but right now everything is good on the BB Tech. I did though experience issues with connection from my skype, but that would probably not be your issue(s).

FUN BB1, avoiding the dreaded one word post.

I like to use original names to attractions, so yes I was.

After a bit of reading on the old Coney I began to think of what if the old attractions were at Kings Island today? So that is essentially what the topic is about, what old Coney ride, that is not at KI now(protecting against loop holes) , would you want to see at Kings Island? Personally I would like to see the Cascades (or Shoot the Chutes)where the Crypt is is at the moment.

Sadly tis true, but they did show us the carrier map one last time. Interesting times we are in, truly a "juxtaposition" to the park in a sense.
-
I find this very ironic. The one time I do like a "bland" attraction, everyone else says repaint it! BB1, on the opposite, aeronautical spectrum.

After a bit of thought, I remember something very important. Cedar Fair losses ALL rights to any use of any Paramount name. Now I know it may or may not have any infringement on the topic, but by that definition, we could be getting either The Bat, which right now I don't want due to my fanaticism on planes and war material, or getting an updated queue. Also one idea I thought, but now won't be in effect more than likely, is that in the Banshee queue we could of had those scenes lying down a backstory on that it is an paranormal investigation in the Scottish Moors.

After a long time of being busy, I finally have time to share a bit on my day. So to begin, I got up there with my family member near the end of the interview with the Reds player. Instantly I thought "Halloween, really?". We picked up our lanyards and headed over to Rivertown Pizza for lunch. Now I didn't wait in the line and walked to Madam Fatale's. When I walked in I noticed a few things. First, it really used the existing structure very well. Secondly, I was next to a KIC group, which i got the sense of how many people were actually going to be here. After i ate lunch and headed to Flight of Fear. Even before I go on, I love Flight of Fear, hands down it is my favorite steel coaster period. Then I went to Wolf Pack, even more KIC members were there! I liked Wolf Pack, though I think that the theme could use a bit more on placement issues. Being around there led me to ride of course Flight Deck. Then I was left with 30 minutes to spare prior to the Banshee tour. So, BB1, being BB1 rode Delerium and a other ride, making it back just in time to go into Banshee tour. The crowd infront of Banshee was immense, recognizing members like Jcgoble, NoChickens, Malem, even the most greatest Dane. After a short wait we shimmied into the enterance and entered the site. The whole area was quite an sight, and I was VERY happy to see my old BB guest services building still back there. With that I got a sense of how big the coaster was going to be and the supports as well, with the layout in the 'noggin I made sure to check out the whole site under the restrictions laid out of course. With this I took many many photos, and was quite thankful to be able to enter such a place. Thank you so much for this! After this it was off to the Diamondback tour, which it was great being able to see the coaster up close and on the ground rather than being on the steel beast itself. Then I headed to the IR for the q and a session, which thankfully we learned there are no Intamin products in the future. I actually got to put more names to faces here, but do note that no one has yet to connect the BB1 puzzle. The session itself was great and very informative, which led to the final rides of The Beast for 2013 summer season. Really it was fun meeting a few of you and i hope this can be repeated again. Few side notes: Brony backpack, as stated before, is awesome, period. Sometime during this day there was a WindSeeker ride Best part was probably the Banshee walkthrough, although seeing BB stuff on the DB tour made my day as well. Hopefully we can do this again soon!

Pictures will come very soon.

Most of the scenes are now extracted and are in the valley, you can see most of the old props, including the carrier map, in the valley with the scenes open. I really want to buy at least one of those scenes!
-
It is not that it is just that we have tried to go away from that past. (See SOB and Banshee speculations) Well it could be a refurbished queue with the tech being dusty and old.
-
When I think of "Pay as you go haunt" i think of these thoughts: Welcome to Club Blood, please give the man to your right $5 to enter. Boo! Now that will be five dollars please.

We have officially gone off topic. (If you really want to talk about this, please make another topic.)I will be there soon and I really wish they would keep the old scenery.
