  1. My class is lucky this year because if we get proficient on the OGT, we get to exempt our final for that specific class. Our class is the only class that gets to do that because I guess they're changing the OGT next year.
  2. Renderings of the new entrance: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v175/Dragster420/awesome_zps8a08c97e.png http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v175/Dragster420/wow_zps04f48e09.png News article with video: http://www.wkyc.com/news/story.aspx?storyid=277929
  3. I don't see BSC going anywhere, that area has nothing to do with any project in Action Zone. I do see the effects or a complete retheme coming.
  4. At my middle school, the 7th graders would go to Put in Bay and the 8th graders would go to Cedar Point. They've cancelled the 7th grade trip but the 8th graders still go to Cedar Point.
  5. I think Kingda Ka is a great name, not sure what it exactly means though. I don't think anybody really does.

    A diversion

I believe Carowinds let's you in 15 minutes early, as of 2011,
  7. That park returns a profit faster than Cedar Point. They could easily build another coaster along the lines of Behemoth/Leviathan in another four years.
  8. They'll even go as far as making a ride seem like it beats it's riders up.
  9. They predicted Disaster Transports closing... 10 years ago.
  10. I visit Wildwater Kingdom pretty regularly and I'll admit it is very sad going past there. There are still many Geauga Lake signs up, including ones of the highway. It really does have the feeling of they just picked everything up and left.
  11. An awesome video was posted on PointBuzz about Gatekeeper and some future stuff going on with Cedar Fair! Check it out below http://pointbuzz.com/c/WhereTheRollerCoastersComeFrom.aspx
  12. True but I see many years of family rides coming to Cedar Point. I think a dark ride is very high on that list too. That is very true. I visited the park in 2010, before they purchased that extra land though. If you look at Carowindz on Google Earth, there is plenty of land to expand upon. It takes like 10 minutes just to drive to the entrance gates. (Maybe exaggerated a tad bit). I hope they do something about the water park, the entrance is located at the back of the park and is pretty much a cut out in a chain link fence.
  13. Those types of rides are very popular. Look at Buzz Lightyear and Toy Story Mania at Disney, especially TSM. I think that if either Cedar Point or Kings Island gets a dark ride, that would be the best choice.
  14. I'm on my iPad and I still get the full original version.

  16. I hear Kings Island is getting a big 12 inversion roller coaster
  17. Really? Most Northern Ohio schools are starting to get out in May now. I know my entire county is switching to that format next year and we go back mid-August.
  18. I'm really hoping that was done on purpose...
  19. I voted for Cedar Point. Some people might think Cedar Point is over rated but its defiantly one of the best. Not many parks can match the Beach and the views that Cedar Point delivers. I think 10 years from now, if Cedar Point is still getting voted #1 by the GTA, they'll actually deserve it. Ouimet is doing a great job and I see many consecutive years dedicated to family attractions. He's all about maximizing the resort and nighttime experience too so I think Cedar Point has the brightest future out of any park listed.
  20. Astros4477, I have a small note on my user page about my Maverick00 name here. I've always wondered if Goneln60 contributes on Kings Island Central because Kings Island looks to be his home park.
  21. And I was partially responsible for getting Cedar Point to Good Article status
  22. I hope I'm not the only one that'll even edit them sometimes
  23. Have you guys ever considered repainting the Eiffel Tower? I doubt it would ever happen but I'm curious if its ever came up in a meeting or something.
  24. According to the Knott's Berry Farm website, WindSeeker will reopen February 1. http://www.knotts.com/rides/Thrill-Rides-1-5-12-42/WindSeeker'>http://www.knotts.com/rides/Thrill-Rides-1-5-12-42/WindSeeker
