I don't know why there's a big fuss over bathrooms. All the bathrooms I've ever been in at Kings Island have always been clean.

I would love a Top Spin or a great set of Flying Scooters, but I want to ride Banshee before thinking of a new ride.

This sounds like QTV. I know I shouldn't judge it from day one, but I HATE these kinds of things. Even the music in the park is too much. I just want to talk to people, not listen to advertisements and quizzes and whatever else is offered.

^THIS. I love Shake, Rattle & Roll, Scrambler, Monster, and Zephyr, but the park definitely needs more rides like these.

If you say your scary lawn is better than Haunt, why do you bother going to Haunt at all?

I miss the Flying Eagles just as much as anyone, but I'm actually really impressed that the former GM was respected enough that he got to pick up our ride and bring it down to Carowinds with him. It sounds so cool to have that much power! But actually though, getting ours back and replacing them with another set at Carowinds is highly improbable. CF would probably give us a modern interpretation of the Flying Eagles rather than our original set. I really want the originals return, though!

I don't know the last time you've been to the park, APE, but that smoking section has been moved off of the path next to the restrooms. That move has helped so much.

I'm off school for conferences tomorrow, so I get to sleep in! We also had a half day today, which was awesome as usual.

Where else could they have put the smoking area? There's not a ton of room anywhere else in that part of Coney Mall, whereas there are already two smoking areas near the center of Action Zone already. I think AZ is good with the number of smoking areas it currently has.

I seriously doubt that Kings Island would put a smoking area in the middle of the midway, especially when there are already several in the area as is.

^I assure you, there have been FAR worse thread hijacks than this one. As for KIC, most everything here is said in jest. If there's ever a question about a post's mood, you can always ask or just dismiss it as sarcasm. Sarcasm is very hard to pick up on a forum board anyways, so I can understand how messages can be misconstrued.

As I understand it, maintenance of special fx is up to the park's discretion. I don't think Ouimet would make a huge difference if maintenance doesn't care.

The Haunted Mansion is by far my favorite ride at WDW and I really wish I could have gone through Phantom Theater. Shaggy, do you have any more pictures or stories of/about Phantom Theater?

I don't have a specific order, but I make it a point to ride Adventure Express at least a billion times every visit.

Yes, it is a coincidence. There's no way that putting a Flying Scooters in the center of Action Zone is feasible. The amount of congestion it would cause is huge, plus there would be no room for a queue line.
