How would that work? I don't understand why a park would put huge ramps, or an elevator for each and every slide. It doesn't sound cost effective.

Little Bill's Giggle Coaster! By the way, it had several names. It opened as Scooby Zoom, then was changed to Top Cat's Taxi Jam, then chang'd again for Nickelodeon as Little Bill's Giggle Coaster, and it is now currenty The Great Pumpkin Coaster.

Most anticipated water park ride?

Ohhhh! You missed a big one, and the correct phrase is wrong too (therefore everything besides the preposition and capitalization is wrong ) -
Most anticipated water park ride?
TheCrypt replied to chelseafirerockets's topic in Coming Attractions
^That post was rude to my eyes! No capitalization, barely any text, and the post above dudecoasterman's has no punctuation! EDIT: Don't take it personally. That was a horrible attempt at a joke. I'm kind of a grammar/spelling freak and I really hate when people don't spell things correctly or used the wrong form of punctuation or lack thereof. Capitalization is a biggie, too. "were is you go to" bothers me for several reasons! Can you name them? -
Wouldn't it be something for each Bat head (was there one on each car? I think there was) was painted up like the rendering... Do you by any chance know how long it took for each bat head to be made? If it was only a couple days per head, the off season could have easily had enough time to work on that. (Again) Thank you so much.

^Yes, someone has. Crypt, feeling repetitive. -
^The reason you black out on Backlot Stunt Coaster's helix is because of the intense positive G'a it pulls at the bottom of the helix. It's one of the most intense elements in the park.

Soak City Construction Continues
TheCrypt replied to BoddaH1994's topic in Kings Island Central Newsroom
I never really thought about that! In essence, it's the same waterpark, just without the laziness of the lazy river, the faded slides, and the faded fiberglass animals. Don't forget, Rendezvous Run and Mondo Monsoon have [new names and] the old Boomerang Bay paintjobs (I wish they got new paint... ) -
Actually, the more I think about it, she could be right! I think if you're a seasonal employee, you should know what the end dates are for your job, so if it says "January 2013" or something, then that would mean a Winterfest-esque event. Now, I'm not sure it will be very big or likely, but hey! You never know!

That ride op is lying through his teeth. He's probably on here, just waiting to find his quote to show up!
-
Remember Pizza Baby? Food service? He knows all about the Action Zone expansion! Duh! She probably just got mixed up. She may think that there still is a Winterfest, probably not as familiar with the park as we are. If she is right, well I'll be darned! Also, I can't tell if you're not joking? EDIT: One more thing! I doubt we could ever have a great Winterfest because it would require all the Haunt stuff to come down quickly (I assume it would need time), and we'd probably have a shorter Haunt (if that's possible!). Also, setting up lights is a tedious task in itself, plus there's always the take-down stage too (one of the reasons why I hate decorating our house for Christmas )

jandyb, I can not begin to express enough gratitude for what you put together. I have never seen The Bat heads in full color, all the more making me want to find someone who has it, just to see it. It should be put into a museum (the same one where they put cars from the Big Bad Wolf) and join the rest of its bretheren. That is one of my favorite posts currently. Thank you.

It's hard to enjoy forums with the trolls. I wish there was a line graph that showed the number of new users. I bet we're at an all-time high! There's upwards of 5,000 users, and there's about 60 who rarely post.

I was making a point. The point is, 2 hotels abreast adjacent to a third resort, just doesn't sit right with me. Why would we want a shining, gleaming hotel standing at the head of Action Zone where something better could sit?
-
Great Wolf Lodge? I don't want to have a hotel within the park. I won't stand for a huge 10 story Mariott inside the park.

We could always do what CWMania does. You have to: Type out a response. You then submit it to an admin/mod. You wait and wait and wait until you receive an email stating "Your post has been approved." It gets really hard to do this ^ on those forums. Same goes for new topics. Granted, that's a lot of pressure on the people who run this site, and I wouldn't want this to happen to us.

If you want to record on any ride, please feel free. They may throw you out of the park, though. It is unlawful to record or take photographs on rides at Kings Island (exception: You can do the aforementioned on the Kings Island & Miami Valley Railroad and the Eiffel Tower)

I literally just got done watching 2 Star Trek episodes! Gotta love those great 60's special FX!
-
Many things I want to address... 1. I'd be wary of posting a picture of yourself on an Internet forum. 2. I assume you like Hello Kitty (ain't no shame in that!) 3. I think you should be able to fit on the rides.

That would be a great PR stunt.

Universal, SeaWorld, and BGT tips
TheCrypt replied to jcgoble3's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
Well I went during the winter, so I guess they close earlier in the winter than summer? Oh well. Don't take my advice on that, either! -
Have you noticed my screen name and / or profile?

I really doubt that Keyhole, err, Photo Memories employees are asking "Hey! Stop right there and let me take a picture, then ask you about what you want at Kings Island 'cause we're gonna listen to you!" Yeah no.
