  1. I won't lie, KIE's great, but it just kinda... Died due to a lack of fan base.
  2. Wow... I really feel for the admins who run KIExtreme. 2 topics about the removal of Son of Beast, and, as of July 31, only 1 has a reply. Yup, 1 reply.
  3. Woooooow. The 9 and biggest fail yet. I now understand what you mean. I did read that, but I guess I didn't register that... Oh well. You win this round, CoasterMan!
  4. That's my point. Even though Shambhala and Diamondback are both B & M mega coasters, doesn't mean they're the same. Same goes with the Shockwave / King Cobra duo.
  5. Well, that, and Shambhala looks to have a much more interesting layout versus Diamondback. I mean, have you seen that awesome turnaround?!
  6. ^^According to that line of argument, then Shambhala and Diamondback are te same.

Actually, once you stop on Invertigo, you count 1...2...3... DROP! The 3 with a little retardando. So I guess it's 4.5 to 5 seconds. Also, The Beast's spiel is "Remain seated throughout the entire ride, please keep hands and legs inside the car at all times... Remain seats throughout the entire ride, please keep hands and legs inside the car at all times. Thank you." Same way Backlot Stunt Coaster's is "Alright stunt team, listen up. As with any driving stunt, safety first, so STAY SEATED. Keep your head against the headrest and your hands and arms inside the vehicle at all times. Secure all loose articles or leave them with the crew before we roll." For the record, Drop Tower is 7 seconds from the click, and I think Delirium's whooshes are awesome, as well, Wow. After typing those spiels from memory, I realized 2 things: 1. Nobody cares. 2. Everyone probably thinks I'm crazy now!
  8. The layout is cool. I like that. But the location stinks, quite frankly. I guess one could call me an Adventure Express activist, but I will reiterate what I have stated in the past: No rides by Adventure Express! And while you're at it, plant some trees that will actually grow tall (unlike the few dogwoods we got in Rivertown) and plant them by the first tunnel so as to obstruct Drop Tower and our Skycoaster! What happened to our secluded Express?

  10. I do agree, the old, faded paint of Invertigo does match Action Zone.

Actually, you can still get Arrow parts from S & S Arrow. S & S Power bought out Arrow Dynamics when they filed for the ominous Chapter 13, so Arrow still lives on and are able to make parts for their coasters made under their moniker. However, once the numbe of coasters diminish, I doubt they'll still make parts, or at least charge through the roof.
  12. WHAT?! MORE TREES GONE BY FLIGHT DECK?! Noooo! Sorry. *ahem* I do hope they plan on saving these trees and replanting them (maybe around Diamondback's splashdown?). Flight Deck keeps losing its trees without new ones.
  13. I can't miss The Crypt because that was a Cedar Fair creation. I miss it under the FUN reign. Paramount Parks only had the ride made under their control (which, is why it is no longer here, those cheap bastages). Can you miss Flight of Fear? No, because it is still there. Our current FoF looks way better than the last ears of Paramount's FoF. Do you understand? I know that probably is kind of a weird way of putting things, my thoughts are sometimes jumbled. EDIT: And how exactly was Tomb Raider: The Ride a Giant TopSpin, but The Crypt wasn't?
  14. Leviathan and Behemoth supposedly offer much different ride experiences. I've heard raving reviews on CWMania.
  15. I think you'll be fine riding some coasters. Just make sure you ride in smooth locations so your jaw doesn't bang against the upper row of teeth. You know what *I* think? You should wait one more day for KIC Day! Remember, Fast Lane is recommended! But you should definitely talk to your doctor.
  16. I'd say C. However, Busch Gardens deserves a day in its own. If you're looking for a great experience in 1 day, at least choose Busch Gardens.
  17. You can't browse on an iPod with private browsing (I don't think), but I also am not accepting cookies...
  18. Well, that's what they were called when constructed, no?
  19. That PKI topic and The Bat topic are close to being that old... Just sayin'. EDIT: But yeah, I agree with you, Ty. I don't know what's up with all these revivals. My God, just make a new thread!
  20. Shaggy, almost all of the land you hilighted in your post of Kings Island is maintenance roads. I'm not saying it is impossible to work it's way around them, I'm just saying that Canada's Wonderland's was all empty land. As my stepfather's fraternity buddy says, "I ain't sayin' anything, I'm just sayin'."
  21. I said it appears to be that you are stumped. However, under careful studies it has been our consenus that it is just a hoax by a local poster, as a publicity stunt for his latest post.
  22. Wow. For once it appears to be that someone has stumped the Terpy!
  23. Kind of related, FUN now owns the rights to Flight of Fear's soundtrack. Does that mean that they own Tomb Raider's? Or was Tomb Raider's soundtrack a packaged deal with the whole shabang of rights? Or possibly, does Tomb Raider's soundtrack(s) abide by the seperate music licensing terms?
  24. Man, that logo looks amazing. Sad that all we have now are just little dinky signs you walk past/under.
  25. I believe Holiday World plays themes from various Paramount movies. As I understand it, the bottom of the warehouse is just a concrete slab. It might have been ripped up when removing the a frame arms from the Giant TopSpin, but new concrete could have been poured. As far as the goddess, the goddess herself isn't copyrighted, but the prop. Can't they pull a SDatHC and put glowing red LED's over her eyes at least? Or just illuminate the eyes herself. What I fail to understand is how a Durga is still under protection by the patent when the thing patented no longer exists (the ride). I've never seen Tomb Raider, but does Durga even appear in it? If not, then how can it be tied to the movie?
